The Cooperstown Dreams Park Experience "A Players Day-in-the-life"
I’m 11 and going in July 2025. Is this fun?
Is there bathrooms
Stayed in same barrack back in 2015 15b
where do the coaches sleep? in here?
I’m going there tommorow from florida
Do you play games everydwy and what time do you have to wake up?
I am 28 years old, I don't play ball anymore but I think back on my travel team experiences and Coooperstown was the best experience of my life. thank you for letting me and my friends and many other kids live the dream at this camp each year.
Baseball is life
I’m going to cooperstown this summer too play
Nice man I play for outlaws and can’t wait to go to cooperstown this year. Also the hardcore elite organization is very nice u are lucky
My travel team was against tournaments out of the three. Outbids around us, so I didn’t get to experience this. It makes me cry knowing what I could’ve done but didn’t get to.
Going there hof week this year I’m so pumped
The locals despise you. Thanks for the revenue
I played there back in ‘03. Awesome experience. Great video
Cant wait! I'll be doing a vid for the channel, looks like I need a coaches pass??
Im going in July!
What size are the bunks?
What size are the bunks? Twin or full?
Will be going here next year and I cant wait!
nice place.... wish i can go there
It was great
Great experience, miss it already and I just finished
Thanks for taking me down memory lane. Played there in 98' and from what I can remember, not much has changed. Awesome to see the pins still being used.
Great video!!!
It’s cheap subway but looks good
I’m going in two weeks 4th of July week
Same
For as much as teams are charged you would think they would put some window AC units in and a small refrigerator. No different in the umpire cabins.
I agree 100%., and better food for the kids.
@@cutin1971 food was fine. Standard camp food. Actually better than I ever had in a camp. I only went off campus once to eat at the pizza joint across the street from the main entrance. Otherwise, I ate right with the teams. No complaints on food quality at all.
all star villiage has AC
I umpired in CDP in 2016. Very good experience overall. High Notes: Couldn’t be a better setting out in the middle of nowhere. Gorgeous scenery from anywhere in the Park. Grounds crew makes sure all games get played even if it rains. They were able to get fields playable quickly and we could play well into the night. Pin trading for the players was fun. I only traded for team pins of teams that played on my field on games I worked. I still have those in a bag somewhere. Gave away some of my CDP umpire stuff to kids at the end of the week. Parents are kept beyond the dugouts which puts them in the OF area. Made for some nice quiet games. Loved the town. Small and quiet. Very old feel to it. Like a throwback in life. Double Day Field was nice to visit and watch a game. Ran into a guy in a St Louis Browns jersey who had just played. We shared the same story. Both of our Grandparents were drafted by the Browns but never got to play after being drafted to the Army. Enjoyed watching the team that took me play when I wasn’t working and seeing their enjoyment as well. I broke a CDP rule and squirreled away some CDP baseballs for them to all sign for each other. Food was ok for a camp site environment. No AC in the cabins. But I didn’t mind that so much. Cracked a window and the night temp changes helped. Took me back to being a kid so it was a high moment. Met some great guys that I worked games with. Picture taking on all of the fields was great. I got some good action photos to frame for my wall. Just waking up to the fresh air and baseball. Lows: Not many really. But the fence marked at 200’ is false. More like 185-190’. I walked it out once I saw how short that OF was. The balls are juiced. They make their money on HR souvenirs. The big low was uniforms. After skills competition the player scenery was just boring. Everyone in the same red or blue. I would rather see the teams in their own uniforms. The baseball HOF had some awesome artifacts but I was underwhelmed overall.
Yeah, I get to go this summer and I’m super excited (just not for the hats and unis(but I’ll make ‘em drippy)
I’m going in June, anything to look forward too?
Went here in 7th grade back in 2009 or 10 and damn man…. What an awesome experience. Still have all my pins from all the other teams too! I heard whoever wins this tournament eventually goes in to playing the Little League World Series I don’t know how accurate that is tho.
That is completely false. There is no association with Little League. 95% of the teams are all travel teams. There was a LL team when I was there (without the LL branding as that would violate LL rules) but they didn’t get remotely close to competing.

Where do coaches stay/sleep?
I’m pretty sure they stay in teh barracks
I’m going here in august 2022
I can vividly remember the smell of that place, the shitty food they gave us, the 8am games that everyone hated, and getting yelled at for not having my pants pulled up to my knees. Good times man good times. Oh yeah and the pin trading. I still have all my pins.
Boy what dude I loved those deli sandwiches they gave us
Hello would you please tell me how many games you played a day?
I never got the chance to go to cooperstown because my 12u year was when covid started :(
My friend hit a grand slam there, I hit a 3 run shot

Those hooks to hang clothes on the bunks... Were they there or did you bring them?
You have to bring them
@@cooperstowndreamsparkvideo8158 I like the white hooks ones which have several hooks on them. Do you have an amazon link or remember which ones you got? They seem to work great! Thank you!!
I want to hall of fame in November
I’m going in June and I am so hyped
Are u going June 3 through 10
their concession pizza is still my all time favorite pizza, gotta have a son and go back when he’s 12 to try it again :’)
Oh that was some nasty pizza. The joint across the street from the entrance was good though.
Played in this tournament back in August 2004. Watching this brought those memories back that I cherish so much. Hit my first ever home run here and played way too much Big Buck Hunter. Glad to see that's still in the arcade lol!
what age were you in 2004? i went that year too and 2006
I just went last month to all star village unfortunately I had already turned 13 so it’s too late for me to go back (June 22-June 28)
Going tommorow I’m so excited
3:20 right before it cuts out I was in a blue helmet wearing #1
