2nd run on Sunday from Chasing the Dragon '23. DCT decided it didn't want to go to third gear after the esses, and for some reason I bitched out over the finish on this run with a short shift to fifth, and crossed at 102 rather than the 108-110 I had been on other runs. Second fastest run, ran 109.3 but the camera didn't turn on.

Finally have the DCT working with the help of Jdogg's garage. Little street drive, I know people are actually interested to see how these actually drive on the street, this is one only tune revision, and the cam has around 25* of overlap, still drives great. A little adjustment to the blips and we are there.

Throwaway run from Sunday trying out the Avons. Slower everywhere than the A7s, this run 53.9, best of 53.270 on A7s Saturday, 1st place overall. Road never really dried up which made the braking zones pretty treacherous.

I'm pretty surprised how calm you are through the corners. Probably my issue trying to over drive the car and not being able to turn on exit. Hell of a good run, Duryea is going to be fun to watch.
Most of that is the complete and total lack of grip

Brother? Maxxecu site says they don't support OEM BMW paddle shifters, how did you get them working ?
@@StoicSpeaks with the factory shifter in the car and the E9x protocol enabled, everything worked. They say they don’t, but they did. Just connected to CAN hi and low

You've got your ls3 revving pretty good to 74-7500, what's done on it?
Did you get your Maxx ECU from them directly or a dealer in the US? All I have been able to find is dealers that use/sell them to motorcycle customers.

It was an issue in the tuning where the torque was going off the scale due to acceleration fueling. It’s a calculation, when it sees higher than a certain torque number getting send to the DCT it releases the clutches. Only had a few events with the DCT so we were still working bugs out.
@@MAubeleMark, just saw your reply on fb regarding dct swap(not worth for hill climbing), what exactly are the cons? Is it too complicated to get Downshift blip or upshifting ignition cut working right?

The sensor is actually broken, that’s oil temp, so it’s just reading crazy numbers

@@MAubele Damn, I was hoping you'd say you're running a flex plate. I'm running the domiworks kit with factory LS1 flywheel machined to fit inside the adapter plate. It's 25# and pretty sluggish. I bought a 10# flex plate and was going to swap that in, but it may be too light. Your car revs like crazy with 19#!
Corners for me I loose so much. Unbelievable pass this one, posting mine when I get home but will look sooo slow compared 😅
Would you like to share how you fix downshift fail ? I always have downshift problem on 3 gear to 2 gear. Feels like it takes 2 seconds downshift then wheel lock....
I ended up being CAN wiring. Usually the trans not downshifting is because it doesn’t have enough blip

No real issues. We now have two events on the combo and we are very close to having it 100%
