My Axle nut removing tool
My axle nut was stuck long time ago and I damaged couple of tools to take it out. And after I made the tool similar like I use with my grand father to remove tractor lug nuts long time ago. and that tool was factory made.

peel and seal does not smell at all. I also glued it to the vertical surfaces and it is holds strong. I made this slideshows after 3 years of using the car.

Here is the way of gluing the edge to the solid surface corian tops works good for straight tops with small radius. Two 45 degree cuts, jointed in 90 degree angle, with very little glue, and don't need to use double planks to get proper thickness

music track Trespass - Gunnar Olsen I did boring and port matching 70mm skunk2 alpha throttle body to stock d16y8 intake manifold. The stock bore was around 57mm I was required to JB weld the IACV hole and drill it with offset again I was not able to bore to 70mm diameter all the way through, because thin neck of manifold but I did the bore through around 62mm

I drilled and taped 1/4-28 standard zerk fitting from auto-zone, and pressed appropriate grease with grease gun. I did it for all 3 bushings on each side and the squeak gone away finally The car is Honda civic 1999 EX

What glue to use for bonding?
Glue for Corian solid surface. Willsonart company making glue thats what I know and probably more brands available. Its two component glue what mixes in special glue gun on the fly

Yes that's nice, very cheap and can't do a bull nose on it. That edge is weak and it is a lot cheaper to build it that way. But I'll never give someone a top like that. Mine all have th standard 2.25" solid surface straps on all the finished edges. My goodness I wish I could get away with that my clientele would go what's that? I'm not accepting that.

Take it appart fill the hole with epoxy and drill new hole with offset. You need to make a passage where the new gasket is

I don't remember. I didnt thined it
He's a brainlet and doesn't know what he's doing. Yes it's boiled. Any liquid in a vacuum's boiling temp will approach zero. So the room temp would have brought it to boiling point if he sucked the vac hard enough. Thinning it is pointless unless you let it evap off STILL in situ within the body of the oil (so the thinner will evaporate out of the wood sucking more linseed oil into the wood over time) so it really depends on how long you have to work. Also flaxseed has some amazing unexplored properties when you wet a kilo of the stuff to germinate / grow it, let it soak for 24 hours, then collect that water. It's almost like a hard resin when you soak wood in it. I've been able to turn a piece of tissue into a sharpenable blade by soaking it in it. Linseed oil isn't the only use for flax. Experiment, see what you come up with.
I had someone with a mill bore mine out yesterday we went 70mm all the way threw and it removed the entire cast leaveing large holes😁 Wich is fine im a welder. I plan on cuting it open and porting and polishing and im thining about cutting that weurd hump off the top and welding sheet metal to keep the bore more uniform

What type of jigsaw blade should be used for cutting corian countertop?
Im using porter cable jig saw blade with fine teeth aproximately 14 teeth per inch. I cant say exacly right now. The teeth pointed up, so jig saw is not jumping on the top surface

sure but you need a bigger container, maybe metal cooking pan). The vacuum doesn't crack the wood, its sucks out air and moisture. Let's say - water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. In mountains where the pressure is lower, it boils and evaporates at a lower temperature may be 90, but depends how high you are. With deep vacuum, with even negative pressure it should boil and evaporate at room temperature
@@michaeldiy1510 well, that's all clear, I'm a refrigeration engineer so I know quite a bit about p-t charts and relations and all that, maybe it's my English... My question was, if I would submerge a wood slice in linseed oil, then pulled it to vacuum, then obviously (or hopefully) the water would be replaced by linseed oil in the wood slice. So after, if I would leave it outside for drying, would I end up with a nice wood slice or would it crack apart like if it was normally dried out? I'm trying to figure if those expensive wood stabilisers could be replaced with something for this purpose...
@@lombragoo try to reserch about cactus juise or something like that. Its polymeryzer used to make wood like plastic. You use that insted of lindseed oil. And after bake it in oven. There is video with that product, one guy stabilizing blanks for knives. You can try to have fun with one piese and see what happend, even with lindseed oil

Hi, what kind of saw blade do you use on corian? I may have to make my stovetop cutout a littel bit larger. I may use a sawzall or something like that. I have a circular saw also but may be a bit awkward. Thanks.
better to use the jigsaw for long lines and for tight spots use Oscillating Multi-Function Tool
