Wow, what a tremendous interview ! We remember well the Beddor family and those times when they brought these Sport Quattros to BIR. The cars were fascinating; the ride-alongs with Steve quite invigorating, the unique sound absolutely enthralling. Steve could put the car anywhere off line or on, and with a quickness of turn-in ability the chassis/suspension could invoke a stability with phenomenal grip that was otherworldly. Thanks for a great podcast and great to hear from you once again Steve !!!

I love how these headlights from the prototype actually made it into the production version! I've been driving Mercedes almost exclusively for the past few years, but Audi has a few technologies that make them somewhat attractive again imo, lighting technology is definitely one of them atm!

I had an A4 before, I think the tech now is promising. Perhaps a sedan in Etron type and similar in size to A4. I like how Audis have plenty of buttons inside, while Tesla just has one screen.

Yeah Nish brings up a good point which is unfortunate that these first few will not be given to honored owners, instead it goes to these Honored dealerships, some will add ADM. Yes Audi has done it even on the B7 A4, has a cover for the lugs and make it look like center locks. Go back to the center cover for the CQ which also has an appearance of center locks

Get what you’re discussing re the colour scheme - more disappointing is that they haven’t improved performance. So really just a flashy performance? We are only getting 20 here in Aus - they are all allocated - to big company/corporate buyers from I hear . Hardly any benefits for driving safety considering how much of an investment this is on lights alone. I would much rather see car manufacturers redesign their lights to avoid fatiguing other drivers, which happens more and more.
