First of all Kiwis who work for employers who will not accommodate their basic needs should quit and not put up with it and if they stay on and continue to develop health problems then that is when mediation or a lawsuit should be filed and do not file an ACC claim as they will say you do not have a right to sue and it is a no fault situation as ACC states this. Get your own private insurance and do not use ACC for a start then make employer pay for all the bills- can go through disputes tribunal but not if you file an ACC claim- you have one year from the date of injury to file an ACC claim. Kiwis have the options of Mediation and quitting a job so if they continue in that workplace then they are placing themselves at risk if employers do not accommodate them. NZ employers tend to be like this overall- abusive. Dr. Des Gorman supposedly holds 2 doctorate degrees in Brain Injury and also in Psychology but he has no published work to show for it. I see a very limited amount of research on his profile from the Auckland School of Medicine where he is head of school. Can anyone enlighten us about his medical background and qualifications please or do most Kiwis not question this which is another problem...? I know he drives a porsche but come on people... I see absolutely no research by him on brain injury or psychology for him to be an expert. I also would like to mention that he is part Maori- 1/4 to be precise. This means Dr. Gorman could have got through med school on C grades alone to obtain his qualifications because this is allowed in NZ for Maori but not for others as in general an A- requirement is mandatory for all except Maori. I also wish to point out that a PhD in NZ consists of a 3 year Bachelors and 1 Year Masters education and then a 3 year PhD education totaling 7 years. If you do a bachelors with honours then it is 4 years and you can go directly into your PhD for 3 years without doing a Masters but it is basically the same amount of time regardless except that you can obtain a full scholarship with a bachelor of honours. Another PhD degree on top of this in NZ is only an additional 3 years as the undergraduate education can be applied to another degree which is not allowed in America- all undergraduate work and graduate work must be in the same area or else you cannot obtain another qualification in the US and it is 11 years to obtain one PhD in America which is 4 years more than in NZ and 22 years to obtain 2 doctorates. Dr. Des Gorman holds 10 years of study if he indeed holds 2 PhDs. Ngai Tahu does pay for Maori of their tribe who wish to pursue educational paths but I am unsure of other tribes. If Kiwis could get a bit brighter about questioning things and seeing fact for fiction this would help matters so psychopathic so-called doctors or narcissistic professionals would not rule the roost and get away with harming or placing false allegations against innocent people. When people think someone holds a qualification in something and specializes in something- take a further look to see if anything about them really exists in this area to prove it or not, and then ask them to prove it. Kiwis tend to take everything as the one and only answer when said by someone in authority and this is their fault or ignorance. Dr. Des Garmon has 0- Zero research in the field of medicine published online- there is absolutely nothing on him in the areas of applied psychology or brain injury medicine available online and I wonder why... Are his degrees actually even real?... Can someone verify this? Why can these authority docs make so-called "correct diagnosis and prognosis' but the average Kiwi doc cannot or won't?... Why? US research can be used against you to disprove your ailments by ACC but US research cannot be used by you to support your injuries or claims as it is not NZ made, therefore not credible by ACC!

I have this in WAV format. I first heard it in the 80's when my parents bought me a K-tel compilation cassette called 'Hooked on themes' then about 15 years ago it became available on CD as I recall so I snapped it up. Oddly enough, I see Amazon is selling a 'Hooked on themes' but it only has 16 tracks and 'Spy Ship' isn't amongst them so I don't know what happened. p.s. The 'Hooked on' version is even better than the series title version - same vocalist I think but slower and more haunting and it has another three verses with a sublime ending chorus. p.p.s If you really want a copy, you could contact June directly and see if she could provide any assistance. I am a Gas Safe registered engineer in the UK,and quite honestly open flued gas fires are the biggest pile of crap going in my opinion.They are too often poorly fitted and the technology is old and frankly prehistoric.To me a good,decent room sealed combi boiler is a lot safer,and in my opinion gas fires should be banned.I personally refuse to fit them,and there is no way I would have one in my house.
