I hate that Josh Radnor actually nailed it and managed to look SO IN LOVE with Tracy. His eyes never looked that genuine and adoring, he never had such a chemistry with anyone. And it goes both ways. I feel like it wasn´t supposed to work, but even with such few scenes, they sold it 100%. And then the show ruins their story and basically makes it seem like she was his next best option, because Robin didn´t want kids. It cheapens their love story so much and I hate everything about it

Lily said "not like this. This is different." But it was different because Ted was finally able to truly give someone a chance because Robin was out of the picture.

People blaming Ted on this, no body say "yes" and proceeds to marry someone if they are not sure.

When Ted drove off with Victoria, I was fully prepared for Bob Saget to say "And that, kids, is How I Met Your Mother". And yk, if there wasn't that scene of Robin in a wedding dress at the end of season 7, you could imagine that to be the ending.

I like the fact that their relation was almost mystical. We only have few scenes of Ted and Tracy but it's ok, they have their happinness and this special chimestry between them, no need to see more. Just finish the show for the fourth time and it's still a pleasure. I like the ending, even if they should wrote the final Season differently besides to focus the weeding. They should made a movie, i would love that !!

After 4 season i was tired..so i watched the ending..glad i didnt waste more time on this..

Tracy was amazing! the writers, not so much. the writers ruined the ending, scarring the show, refusing to change course. the last several seasons - the only episodes worth watching were the opener, midseason, and season finale. everything else just filler. and last season was SO bad. all about a wedding, which ends up in divorce, and then off a main character in 2episodes. im still pissed, and always will be.

“Remembering this”. That sentence always gives me goosebumps. The range of emotions that Josh has is incredible.

Some say Victoria made Ted to take a choice and Tracy didn't, so Victoria isn't the one. Let's look back at how their first relationship ended. Ted almost cheated on Victoria with Robin, lied about their breakup, then actually broke up with her, thus showing that the value of their relationship was low for him at the time. Nevertheless, Victoria left her fiancé for him. Yeah, that may have been harsh. But how do you think Tracy would behave knowing that one of Ted's best friends was the woman he was going to cheat on her with without talking to her honestly, for whom he cheated on her and dumped her, even though she tried her best to make their relationship long distance work. Tracy has never been in Victoria's situation.

As I binged the series, I always am at the edge of my seat thinking,"Is this it? Will Barney get slapped?"

Sigh. I understand that Tracy passed away. Things happen in life. But they should have ended the story there. I was honestly moved by the proposal scene at the lighthouse. Tracy was one of those people who made Ted's crazy, topsy-turvy journey through romance worthwhile, the light at the end of the tunnel, that girl you only meet once in 1000 lifetimes. I do love the actor who plays Robin but her character on the show did not merit being the female lead. After dating (and marrying!) Barney, the bro code was broken and there should have been no going back. If there had never been Tracy, maybe I could see it. We waited so long to meet Tracy only to be shocked that she had been worth the wait! The writers should have understood.

Why did they have to ruin the ending after a 10 season lead-up!

They should have made ted grieve for Tracy. Instead they made her just a plot device for Ted to have kids. Because Robin doesn’t want kids and can’t have kids.

Absolute trash writing, killing Tracy off in the end. Everybody absolutely detested that decision. Ted ending up with Robin in the end was fucking whack. Don't get me wrong, Robin was fine. But she is not even close to what Tracy was or to what Ted and Tracy had together.

For me there should have been a season 10. With 2 episodes focused on Tracy of how she met Ted and 22 episodes of what happened between 2014 and 2030 but of course Tracy won't be dead.
