The ”Devil’s Song” (German: Teufelslied), also known as “SS Marschiert in Feindesland” (English: The SS marches in enemy land) was a military march of the Nazis’ Waffen-SS during the German invasion of the Soviet Union in World War 2. The music of this song came from the “Lied der Legion Condor” (English: Song of the Condor Legion), a march dedicated to the Condor Legion, a military unit sent by Nazi Germany to fight for the Nationalists during the Spanish Civil War. A marching song with the same melody as the Lied der Legion Condor was adopted by the Charlemagne French SS Division ,[aka French Foreign Legion] the Estonian SS Division, the Latvian Legion and the Norwegian Legion during the war. Several soviet soldiers switched to the Germans side during operation Barbarossa as they hated communism and only served Stalin due to fear. It is likely this soldier is one of them or it is a re-enactment yes
German troops were known to use captured PPSh's to supplement their own lack of automatic weapons. In fact, there even exist examples rechambered to the German 9×19 cartridge, called the MP-41r. As for the uniform, we cannot make out what the soldier is wearing on his body, but we can see that he has a German M40 side cap on, thus I doubt he is a Soviet.

Funny thing, i served in the 2ème Rep french foreign legion and this is the regiment song ! Why ? Because after second world war a lot of SS joined the legion. Of course the lyrics are in french and not the same but instrumental is 100% identical.
