      In the video at minute 5:53 I can see that the frog is close to the water, and the question arises, this frog likes to swim in great depths or prefers to climb trees, I see that it is similar to the dendrobates, but I know that Dendrobates are not good swimmers, so what I saw in your video asked me the idea that this frog is a good swimmer and climber? In other words, does he have both abilities?

    • @MrCookster65
      @MrCookster65 4 года назад

      Daniel I am not an amphibian expert by any means, this particular frog in the video at 5:53 is a Red Eye green Tree frog. Litoria chloris.Very young, no bigger than my thumbnail. “They make their home in the riparian zones, flooded grasslands, rainforests, woodlands and wet scierophyll forests.”

    What an amazing creation, may i ask how you managed to get plants to grow on the fake rock panels and also the air plants/bromeliads on the wood, how did you attach such?

    • @MrCookster65
      @MrCookster65 6 лет назад

      Michael Livingston I used shredded moss on the fake and real stone and wood. Left to grow and attach before adding animals. Broms and tills were tied to the branches using a cotton thread. They eventually grow roots to support themselves as Epiphyte’s. Have a look at the Billabong build process video.. I explain it better there for the moss.

    This is the most stunning thing I have ever seen. I cannot believe how simple you made this look though. I would LOVE to do something like this, but I don't have the room, time, or money. Maybe one day in the future though because this is stunning. I can't believe I am about to say this, but it looks better than something nature could create. If I were to ask my mom if I could do this, she would think I was crazy. I tried a Paludarium before, but it looked terrible. Please keep amazing us with these amazing builds.
