Are there any missions that would require you to move to a certain location on the map? Is there any reason to move away from the same section of the map? In classic Raiden there are turrets or obstacles on certain sections of the map that you had to deal with as you flew past them. Because you can keep flying in the same spot in Raiden Nova it looks like you don't need to deal with these types of hazards any more?

Seems like a mixed reaction to this DEVIATION from what RAIDEN fans expect. As far as old school shooters go. It seems NOBODY remembers the old Konami classic TIME PILOT ‘84. This iteration of RAIDEN takes the gameplay of TP’84 and super charges it with bullet hell intensity and adds twin-stick controls for easy maneuvering. I think once angry fans can understand this experiment, they might appreciate it more. Currently LIMITED RUN is producing a PHYSICAL VERSION, so I might get it… just for the TIME PILOT ‘84 nostalgia.👍🏽

A couple of basic things I'm not sure you've noticed yet: - there's a second color on your score that shows how close to an extend you are - if you kill enemy waves fast enough, that's when the bonus golden enemy waves spawn - you can set a slow button in the advanced settings although the fact it's hidden away like that implies you don't need it

Don't forget you can use the charge shot as a shield :)

This game is absolutely exhausting and completely amazing. I only did one run because it was that intense but in that run I wound up with the Megaman X upgraded Buster cannon and I wound up with the drill which is a final attack straight out of Gurren Lagann my absolute favorite mech anime and then I was further blown away by the weapons mechanics because it's extremely close range but it repels unbreakable bullets pushing them back and allowing you to find an exit acting as an offensive weapon and a shield when active. The real interesting part is what happened after. I needed a break from the intensity of Zero Ranger so I swapped over to Pinball FX to play a game of The Getaway and I played the best game of my life. It was not the highest scoring game I played which is a really long tedious game where I cautiously line up shots, it was the highest skill level I've ever played at on the table hitting red line mania faster than I ever have before and getting 3 extra balls on the way before my first drain and I hit a 2nd redline mania and was about to hit it a third time by the end of the game. The Getaway felt slow in comparison to ZeroRanger and I don't think "The" "Getaway"" felt" and "slow" are 4 words that have ever been been put together in that order before. I can't wait to see the next overshadowed gem you come up with.

Don't underestimate the backwards shot, it's a monster at close range! I've been distracted from ZeroRanger by Blue Revolver. I put it down after a normal mode 1CC but it's pulled me back in...

I had to buy ZeroRanger, I'll be playing it soon, probably tonight. The gameplay looks amazing and the graphics remind me a lot of the NES platforming game Metal Storm and I think the sword robot form is a reference to that game and maybe the Squaresoft NES King's Knight which was a very awkward hybred of a Shmup and JRPG. I'm loving the game mechanics I see.

Damn, you're pretty good at sight reading. I'm starving for shmup content on youtube so this was a very welcome discovery.

Since you played so much of the TNG table, how do the physics compare in PFX vs the real thing? I'm always curious about that as I don't have a lot of real pinball tables near me!

This would probably be fine at $15 or under, but they want $30. Vampire Survivors is $5 and original Raiden is $7.99. LOL.

I have owned the Marvel tables for quite some time and haven't given them all a try. I really need to try both of these tables now! Thanks for all of the Pinball FX content. Not a lot of people do table reviews like this so I appreciate it!

Earthshaker is my favorite table from the pack, BY FAR. However, I really enjoy all of the tables in this pack. I think this may be the best combination of tables in any Williams pack that is available currently. I am pleasantly surprised.

The Power Rangers game would be good but it has performance issues hence the mixed reviews. The first time I played it the screen flickered and showed my desktop, there was a patch but it still isn't quite right yet, the actual game is good but I won't play again or recommend it until they patch out that screen flicker.

I still need to get used to Earthshaker but I did get the table award already. I was terrible at Banzai Run and then suddenly it clicked and I had a 30th place game and I have been waiting for Black Knight 2000 since I started playing Pinball FX because I kicked my butt 35 years ago and I managed to pull off Diamond standing in the current event, I think my score is somewhere in the 20's placement right now and I absolutely love the flow of this table and the fast reaction times needed to survive the lower playfield. These are all amazing tables in their own right. I haven't figured out the rhythm on Earthshaker but I have been able to do some really interesting things on the other two tables when I saw what the ball was doing which led to some really interesting shooting strategies that are really working for me. These are some killer tables with brutal drains but it's a strong contender for my favorite Williams 3 pack.

Aww this isn't the live broadcast where the video jumped from the Earthshaker footage straight past Black Knight 2000 and came back during the Charlie Brown footage. Nobody watching live saw the actual table announcement. The Bowling Alley I used to go to had 2 tables Bride of Pinbot and the Black Knight 2000 and I was terrible at them.

I don't understand what evolve means tho.. is it to make the choice probabilty to appear at next level higher? And also what is the point to power up the CPU . It says to optimize growth or something like that... But the exp still runs the same.. I don't understandanywa anyway it's kinda disappointing that divine rampart doesn't appear anymore

MX-4 is not a suitable paste for a GPU. Go have a look at the thermal paste database from IgorsLAB.

I made the same mistake as well because its been a while I assemble a pc. So it felt like cleaning my pc was a noob experience 😂

Personally, I wouldn't use thermal pastes for GPUs anymore, especially for high-wattage cards. This is because pastes tend to pump out in a few weeks to a few months. Phase change material like the PTM7950 is the best thermal solution for GPUs because they last for a very long time. I had to trial-and-error multiple times in the span of five months for me to conclude that thermal paste is only a temporary solution.

no point in doing a cross pattern wit the thermal paste if you are going to spread it all over the cpu 3 seconds later do a cross, with much less thermal paste then just install the heatsink

One thing that bugs me the most while playing is that the quick dash feature (L1) will make you phase through collectibles as well, very annoying Aside from that game also needs a lot of improvements visuals wise

I just got this in the post and I guess I got what I deserve for not doing more research before buying. I hadn't been expecting a Survivor-like game. That being said, I've played about 30 minutes (a lot for me considering my time constraints these days) and it seems comparable to other games of its genre, with some shmup twists. It's fine, but it doesn't quite belong on a serious shmup collector's shelf. It's a novelty spinoff, and probably more profit-motivated than creative. But like I said, it's fine, not bad. Good review, btw.
