I was born Muslim, although I lived briefly in a non-Muslim country during Ramadan. Fasting, finding a place and praying five times a day, is a challenge in itself and will be even more difficult if the family is not supportive. So I would never underestimate the reverts experience.

Any legitimacy of Mohammed being a true prophet of God is thrown right out the window with his outlandish lie that Jesus was not crucified. Why? For two reasons: 1.) Because he lied against God Himself. I will repeat that: HE LIED AGAINST GOD HIMSELF! Think about that for just a minute. God sends His son into the world for the salvation of the world and Moe stated Jesus' crucifixion did not happen? Are you kidding me? 2.) Mohammed, no doubt denied billions of his followers over the centuries a true relationship with Christ. There were men like John, Peter, Paul, and others who walked, talked, and knew Jesus personally who wrote gospels and epistles proclaiming the word of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection, who allowed themselves to be tortured, imprisoned. exiled, and martyred for Christ. PETER, ONE OF JESUS' BEST FRIENDS ASKED TO BE CRUCIFIED UPSIDE DOWN BECAUSE HE DID NOT FEEL WORTHY TO DIE IN THE SAME MANNER THAT JESUS DID. I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT THESE VERY ENLIGHTENED MEN WOULD ALLOW THEMSELVES TO BE TORTURED, IMPRISONED, EXILED AND MARTYRED FOR A FAIRY TALE. There was a FORMAL TRIAL BEFORE PILATE (THE ROMAN GOVERNOR OF JUDAEA) where thereafter Jesus was arrested, imprisoned and tortured all the way to his crucifixion by roman soldiers and officers. Would not also any of the following people have immediately told others that this was not Jesus on the cross? (These people were at the foot of the cross): Mary, Jesus' mother, John, Mary of Cleophus, Mary Magdalene. All events were closely monitored by friends, family, roman officials and authorities, as well as the pharisees who made absolutely sure that Jesus was crucified. Why did Moe state this? My opinion for one or all of the following reasons: 1) He was a mega narcisstic man who couldn't stand anyone not following him, hence his atrocious edicts to have those that didn't follow him taxed or killed. He probably knew that Jesus would be a threat to him hence this outlandish lie. 2) He was inspired by satan to state this. Jesus is satan's arch enemy. 3) A combination of both. Satan took advantage of Moe's huge ego, and Moe took the bait to lie about Jesus. A lie which, I am sure, Moe regrets for all eternity.

Prophet Ibrahim peace be upon him left his family and father when they did not believe in him and Allah, and Allah replaced his relatives and people around him with better, righteous and believers, and gave him righteous children who were prophets - Izaac and Ismael peace be upon them. Allah gave him enough wealth that for few guests he used to serve a whole roasted calf. His name is so much respected that all people of book feel proud to be associated to his name. This is Allah who does not leave his believers alone. This world is a prison for believers but converted Muslims are given reward which is better than born Muslims.

Why are you telling him "pace yourself". He is a chosen invitee from God. He answered the invitation and was reborn into the Sure Reality. He will have struggles and tests as stated in the Quran. His biggest disappointment will be other Muslims because they bring their cultural baggage with them - he's a newbie. When he faces that disappointment he MUST remember that he is not a muslim because of other people, but because Allah SWT wants him to traverse the path of light to become a human being who fulfils the purposes of his existence ie. designed to worship the One God. So its tough, but its also easy. There is no compulsion in religion and truth stands clear from error. Also so with hardship there is ease - to strengthen the evolving eeman. I held myself back from commenting “pace yourself” in your last interview. Didn’t want to be labelled as someone deterring you from the path. This time around, I have the same advice… pace yourself. This test is heavy, really heavy, beyond our comprehension how heavy it is… pace yourself and inshallah small consistent steps will enter us into Allah’s mercy.
