F-16 fighter jets are outdated planes. The first F-16 was manufactured in late 1975 and was rolled out on October 1976. It's 47 years already since the F-16 model was manufactured, isn't that make the F-16 planes an antique ? The F-16 plane is consider a crap now. 😅
Absoulty wrong. Is a 1976 (Block 5-10-15-25) or a Ford Mustang same in 2024. No. ! Those are all in the boneyard. Davis Monthan AFB. A models. I flew 1987 C Models Block 30. Misawa 1991-1993 Block 50 C Models 1997. Flew em new in 1997. Block 70 is in production now. Each version. Bigger engine. Complete different capability.

If you’re in IMC trying to join on a tanker, how far out can you actually see the tanker before you’re on top of it?
They use TACAN and Radar to measure distance from the tanker.
