Question to all brown people in territories where your ancestors were forced tortured and raped by eurpoean colonizers to follow religion dictated by them...Why still be Catholic or Chrisitian at all? Why use their bibles that have been changed time and time again to disadvantage you? How can you heal generationally if you dont step away? Is a major factor still causing set backs in the community and a change many are making. But why such reluctance from others? Would love to learn more about your original spiritual systems please teach more, thanks!

Yes ... yes..... YES!!!!! Afrikan people were living on these islands for centuries before the European drifted here and claimed that they discovered... Barbados got its name from a bearded people who occupied this island and NOT from any Bearded Fig Tree that's a false narrative meant to rewrite history. These original people ... Afrikan and Kalinago mixed and moved freely between the islands before the region became infested with European explorers and pirates .... In 1627 when the English settled Barbados there were people living here. There was evidence of this but it was ignored.... native people were travelling between the island and St. Vincent and St. Lucia and as far away as Dominica . Enslaved Afrikans were also often assisted in escaping from slavery in Barbados by Kalinago people living in St. Vincent ..... We have to take a deeper look at the true history of this region and realise that the narrative we have been given is false.

We got to get rid of a lot of these labels that other people give us. Most of the people on these Islands are the actual indigenous people of that land. We have to realize we are the Arawak, the Taino, the Creek, Choctaw, etc. We have to use common sense. If the hypothetical hollywood portrayed "indians" were there, why do you only see so called "black" people in all of these countries. Where are these "indians". You are the indian which can be proven by a simple genealogy search.

They were described before Columbus by the Arabs of AL Andalusia, Spain from 711- 1491. Conquistadors after Moorish expulsion from Spain, exiled, killed, or converted. Some of these conversos were conquistadors, like Juan Gurrido who named the 'Caribs' of the American continent, 'wild negroes'. Though many of these conquistadors were very dark, they never claimed to be negroes. This, to me, is ery important because they are mentioned in 'An Act Concerning Servants and Slaves' 1705 Virginia Encyclopedia-primary source, and in 'The Moorish Sundry Act' American Congress. Thoughbthey were dark, Moors were excluded from enslavement in America, and Britain. In fact they guided Columbus to the New World. See Treaty of Grenada, Inter Caterra, and Pedro Alonso Nino. Peace

The story about Mali empire and Mansa Musa coming to America is absolutely false. They were created by African Americans looking for ways of avoiding the tag of slave descendants. I am an African historian. Yes there were Middle Age Empires in Africa, but they were not seafarers and never went across the Atlantic. Before Mali, there were Ghana (not present day Ghana) and Songhai Empires. Non went across the Atlantic. Please don't be deceived.

I'm Honduran and I am a witness they are the people who know to preserve their culture, despite being in the land of Honduras. They preserve their African accent even if they speak Spanish. My Gwanda friends were surprise to hear them speak in an African strong accent. We appreciate the Garífunas. I learned to conrow because of one of two twin sisters. Both of them named Vivian, it was confusing, lol. I guess I just assumed they were always the same.

Thank you, thank you so very much. You help me to understand who I am and where part of my ancestors come from I’ve been trying so hard my mom and my grandmother died when I was very young. I know I have relatives because my mom and grandma they used to visit in America and back-and-forth and British indoors which now is a Balize but I have relatives in in Nicaragua surrounding areas Guatemala and Honduras, I’ve always always wanted to step on on the soil in the sand where my people come from, and my grandmother spoke Spanish as well as my uncle who I remember my goal is to connect and I want my children to do the same. My son and his family are planning in November to go to Belize to feel the soil in the sense of where the ancestors arrive there at the time my grandmother and her relatives arrive. They lived in Stanley Creek. I understand that the name is changed now, but I do want my children to connect with other s. This helps me to understand who I am in my spiritual experiences. I like to say God bless you and keep you safe.
