Right on David! Thanks for checking out the lesson. I hope to see you soon.🙏
Great move! Am I wrong that the little lick just suggests the secondary dominant for each chord?
Thanks bud! Yes, the move uses the notes of each chord with movement. I appreciate the comment. See you soon 🙏
Good stuff!!
Thanks a lot! I appreciate the comment 🙏
Nice and helpful 👍🎸
Cool! I’m glad that the lesson was helpful! Thanks for checking out the video🙏

Thanks everyone for all your support!!! Here is a link for the backing track so you can practice this fun chord trick 👍 ruclips.net/video/GTaTAdfVIFk/видео.htmlsi=NxGZKxdbzWgF_1oM
The use of letter notes would be strengthened by reference to intervals
That would take it to the next level. Thanks.
Does anyone know if that b shape just takes a while for your fingers to be able to press down wifh notes coming out cleafly, or am i doing something wrong ?
Thanks for checking out the lesson. I would say that the thumb and wrist position makes a big difference when playing the shapes. Try moving your thumb from the back of the neck and then over the neck and see which works best for you. You have to be comfortable and let the strings ring out. Keep working at it. You will definitely get it. See you soon.👍
Great video, Sir!
Thank you kindly! Blessings my brother 🙏
Hi Rusty, this lesson is very familiar to another one I did of yours, lol. Chipping away at the fretboard notes, thanks amigo.
Many thanks Doug!!! Good to hear from you 🙏
Triads 101! Thank you Rusty. 🙌🎙😎🎸
Triads are a great way to visualize the fretboard for sure! Thanks brother 🙏

See you soon 👍
Thank you once again Brother!!!
Thanks for taking the time to watch my lessons! I appreciate all your support 🙏
Once again Rusty: THANK YOU!!!
You’re welcome William!!! Good to hear from you 🙏
Great time!
Cool! Thanks for stopping by🙏
I always get something out of your lessons.
I’m glad to hear that Blaine!!! Thank you for letting me know 🙏
I’m still slightly mixed on this sound. I do agree this is some really heavy talent and I do like this ambient style a lot. Coincidentally, this is the next thing I’m learning as well on guitar. But I do feel this style has taken over most of the mainstream worship. I wouldn’t mind hearing a little bit of mixed worship genre in the same church…probably not the most ideal lol…but I love hearing a talented Telecaster country style player with some old gospel songs or some of the upbeat twangy country style praise songs. Or some rockin bluesy sound you hear in some 90s style devil stompin praise. Or another style that is as popular as the ambient style is the soul gospel sound which is some really talented guitar playing there! Some of them even shred too! But I would like to learn it all 😊
I am a big fan of country and blues rock guitar for sure. And I do fit it in to some of our worship music. And like you said, I also love the heavy delay in reverb at times. I believe if your heart is in the right place, you will play what’s appropriate and have fun doing it. Thanks so much for the comment And feedback. Blessings Jason.🙏
@@TheWorshipGuitarChannel2 Amen! I pray a Blessing over your channel.
Thank you Rusty. Another excellent lesson.
Very welcome! Thank you John 🙏
Good info. 🙏 Have you ever heard of chord chasing while soloing? Triads + scales + chord chasing while soloing. Jesus Saves.
Right on! Jesus Saves 🙏 I haven’t heard of it put that way, but it is so important to visualize chords as your solo. And sneak them into your playing. Thanks brother 😎
Nice looking Gibson. Do you ever finger pick chords on that guitar? Set on the neck pick up, that could sound very full / ambient / warm. 🙌🎙😎🎸
I am not good with fingerpicking. But that neck pick up does work well for that! Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos.🙏
Good info. Thank you. 🙌🎙😎🎸 Matthew 18:11
Thanks so much! Jesus saves!!! Enjoy your weekend, my brother🙏
Beautiful Duesenberg
Thanks Paul! Yeah man, I really love that Guitar. Blessings my brother.🙏
Nice job Rusty! I'm going to have to work on some of these tips as I am sure it will improve my playing!
Thanks a lot, Dave! Let’s keep working on this stuff together. See you soon.🙏
I use triads almost exclusively during our worship sevices because of what i yave learned from your videos on both channels. Been awhile since we have heard from you. I was beginning to get worried. Thanks rusty for all you do. God bless you and your family.
Right on David! I really do appreciate all your support. I have made many videos on my other channel over the last few months. But like you many of my subscribers are not receiving them.. There’s nothing I can do. I appreciate the comment and blessings to you also David.👍
Love the f add 2 chord. I’ll be using that thanks. The f triad at 5th fret position sounds great if you add the open e string to create an f major 7 chord. It has a tension due to the F note clashing with the open e , but sounds heartwarming at same time. Subscribed to you channel, thanks.
I love the major 7th sound also! Thanks a lot Peter for checking out the video! Thanks brother 🙏
Rusty, you never disappoint. I saw some things here that I plan on incorporating into my playing for services on Sunday. Thanks!
I’m happy to hear that Mike!!! I hope you have a great service on Sunday! Thanks a lot brother 🙏
Beautiful voicings. The spread out thirds remind me of my country third exercises, except you also add the octave at the bottom. Sounds great.
Cool! Good to see you here! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. See you soon.🙏
Great guitar tone. Happy Wednesday; God Bless Rusty!
Thanks buddy! Blessings to you also 🙏
