Got a question for all you drummers out there (and I'm not one). Did you notice how Gary Moffatt switches hands to play his snare and high hat? At 0.54 Gary is playing the snare with his left hand (normal) and cymbal with his right. Then at 1:21, during a verse, he switches to his right hand to play the snare, and uses his left to play the high hat. I don't think I've ever seen that before. That isn't normal, is it? Talk about ambidextrous!!!!! That has to be harder than it looks.

So happy I finally learned this tune on guitar (middle section with the tempo shift too!). One of my all time favorite tunes. Thanks Gregg.

They left the sax and piano solos alone....from the Laid Back version. Vocals are different and some fills are, too. Beautiful song. I saw The Gregg Allman Tour in 1974 in Durham, NC. Imagine Queen of Hearts with a full orchestra. It was terrific. BB King opened.

Well this is a bit different from original studio version. I love this! Greg Allman was supremely talented at such a young age. I was lucky to have seen ABB with Duane and Berry. Greg..best rhythm and blues, blues and rock singer probably ever!

I've been listening to 38 special since i was 12, Don Barnes and Donnie Van Zant are great to.

I can only imagine how honored Gregg must’ve been to have one of Ray Charles’ best saxophonists on this!

I always feel a little sad when I see these 38 Special videos, and Larry Junstrom is thumping on that bass. We miss you, LJ. Rest in peace.

There is just something about their sexy southern sound that has always endeared me to their music......saw them about the same time/ year in summer rocks in Blue Ash.....Cincinnati suburb.....it was great they had 2 drummers though.......hot sound and great concerts....lots of their fans there too....!!!!

It's only don Barnes and Donnie van zant now their the only too original members left you can tell the difference wit only 1 drummer
