Upgraded Coleman CT200U-EX minibike. Spring seat, LEDs
Просмотров 870Год назад
I upgraded my Coleman 196cc. From the store this thing did 19mph. With a few no cost tweaks it now does 34mph. I added a spring seat, LED headlight and taillight/brake light, along with a battery voltage regulator to avoid the headlight flickering.

If you enjoyed this project and you’d like to buy me a coffee it is greatly appreciated www.buymeacoffee.com/TheStuffIdo Here's my version of the infinity mirror mineshaft. As requested - Overall measurements: 21 3/8" (H) 27" (L) 19 3/4" (W) mirror and glass are 16 x 24" The film I used www.amazon.com/Gila-Privacy-Adhesive-Residential-Control/dp/B000H5XTKG?th=1
Where did you buy the rebar for jhe ladder?
I got mine from a job sire, but you can get it at most home improvement stores
@@The-Stuff-I-Do thank you for the quick answer
Hello may i know what materials you use?
The outer box is 1x4 the interior wood is from an old pallet
You make amazing stuff. You should have a ton more subs
Thanks
What's the type of bulb that you've used?
LED candelabra 100w equivalent
@@The-Stuff-I-Do and the name of the glass on top?
@@ishabhusal1821 Its regular tempered glass with a mirror film on it
Did you use film or an actual mirror wanna buy some film but don't know what brand is good quality
The bottom is a mirror the top is film. The film I used is in the description.
That ladder is so realistic looking. It really looks like it goes deep underground from your room. I love it!
Thanks!
Glad you like it!
What is name of mirror used at top?
ITs tempered glass with mirrored tint
Hi mate love the table..I ganna try too make it..wats the cool light called..thank you very much mate
its an oil lamp from amazon that I gutted and wired for LEDs
Could you make a video showing how you made it and what supplies you got for it I’m trying to make one now and I’m just struggling where to find a few things you have in this video
I can answer questions about my build.
So you didn’t use glass on top?
Yes, it's glass
@@The-Stuff-I-Do Whats the film used for? I might be a little confused haha
That looks pretty darned cool
Thanks
Why is this making me feel uneasy weird
Imagine using this as a night light when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night
Very cool. Great job
Thanks!
<3
Thanks!
Is that real wood on the inside ?
Yes
You make beautiful products
Thank you so much 😊
So amazing effect, wow it looks great!! Can you tell me where I can buy this rebar steps? Can you sell similar to me (2pcs) ?
Any home improvement store should have 12" rebar, I just bent it to size.
Is one part of mineshaft and the bottom is a mirror and the top is a one-way mirror so you can see through and it makes the illusion of being endless
Would you be willing to share what brand of reflective film you used? I'm trying to make something similar and I clearly bought the wrong kind. I would greatly appreciate it.
This is what I used www.amazon.com/Gila-Privacy-Adhesive-Residential-Control/dp/B000H5XTKG?th=1
@@The-Stuff-I-Do Thank you so much. Now I can finally finish it!!!
@@davidkinney650 post a link when you do
Really good job on the build .... did you say you can use a regular mirror ??.. you jus gotta scrape the back off of it??
I've seen videos on how to remove the backing, but I ended up not needing to try it. You have to scrape off the paint without removing the mirror
Edit: Nvm just understood, top ladder part has a bigger offeset, translating down. Faked, the ladder prongs stick out oddly far on lower levels, meaning it couldnt have been repeated.
Hi, what glass did you use for the top? (and ideally where did you source it) I want to get that reflected look while the light is off.
the glass is normal tempered glass, the reflection comes from mirrored window tint placed on the bottom side.
@The-Stuff-I-Do thanks, really great job! For the mirror window tint, what one way foil did you use? Thanks!
@@paulhopwood9741 The brand is Gila, I don't remember the specifics other than mirrored
@@The-Stuff-I-Do thank you!
@@paulhopwood9741 This is what I used www.amazon.com/Gila-Privacy-Adhesive-Residential-Control/dp/B000H5XTKG?th=1
That’s some liminal space back rooms shit. Except it’s literally real
thanks
Туда кто нибудь уже лазил?)
yes and I was standing there with a baseball bat...they haven't come back
This is so cool 😊
Thanks
Do you have a description or link or anything on the type of light? Brand name, size? Thank you!
It's an oil lamp I got off Amazon and wired for electric. I painted it to make it look old www.amazon.com/gp/product/B091YKQC9G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Very clever ✌️
Thanks
It's all fun and games until you see something crawl up the tunnnel 💀💀💀
The welcoming party consists of two dogs, a pair of cowboy boots and a baseball bat. Unless they are smiling, then they get a cheese platter and Iced Tea.
I’d shit a purple Twinkie if I saw something coming up the ladder.
WWWWOW 😮
Thanks
nice
Thanks
Too many lights.
I would have preferred less lights, but there is only 16" of space to work with before the reflection kicks in. Miniature lights don't look right with the ladder.
Понимаешь, что оптичесский эффект, но oчko от вида глубины, играет
Thanks
Do you sell it ???
make an offer
It's fantastic, truly, BUT... every "second" lamp is standing upright. Against gravity ;-) . I think you should have gone for a symmetrical (up to bottom) model of a lamp.
I wanted an oil lamp look, you have to look close to notice that its flipped.
nice trick but it's obvious you just decided to dig an infinitely long minecraft under your house and put a table over it smh
I knew someone would figure out how I did it.
Which mirror film did you use?
Gila is the brand
Wonderful
Thanks
This is amazing! Did you have film the process?
*ever
no, but I can answer any questions about building it
Hi I have a few questions. Is the top glass just a regular glass with mirror film or is it an actual one way mirror? Also how did you attach the top glass to the table? This is one of the better infinite tables I have seen! @@The-Stuff-I-Do
@@paramshah7241 It's 3/8" tempered glass with film. The box has inside walls and outside walls. The interior walls are 3/8" shorter than the exterior walls. The glass sits on top of the interior wall and the top frame anchors it in place.
How deep is it?
16-17 inches
Bonjour, Magnifique travail, l'illusion est fantastique 👍 Quel est le diamètre de tuyau ?
1.5 inches
@@The-Stuff-I-Do Merci 👍
Amazing!!! Keep up the great work!
Thank you!!
wow, now show me how to make it please
Sorry I didn’t video the build but i can answer questions
Would you ever be open to creating documentation for one of these? I would love to build this.
2 one way mirrors + planks + lamp + pipe + rebar ladder piece + led light
Thats pretty mcuh it
What opening % does the upper mirror have? Greetings
5-20% I'm not sure
3 tall mirrors on hinges. Let a person close 2 mirrors like doors forming a triangle around them. They get to see infinite duplicates of themselves. We did that as kids in the stores where the clothing is sold.
What 2 way did you use on top . I’ve ordered the film off Amazon
The brand was Gila
This is amazing. Very good quality build. I was wondering if you could achieve the same effect by using a TV / monitor screen and a digital photo?
I’m not exactly sure what you mean
impossible, you would not get the stereo vision (3D) effect when moving around
The pipe really gave it that extra realism
Thanks, it’s my favorite part
I was thinking of using a glass with reflective film for the lower mirror too: the lack of light on the back of the glass, facing the bottom of the table, should make it behave like a first surface mirror. Do you think it could be an option? Btw, yours is mesmerizingly fantastic.
Not sure. it will probably work but the reflection might not be very bright. The good news is, if it doesn't work good enough, you can replace it later. So it's worth a try.
@@The-Stuff-I-Do Yes, I have that doubt too. If I decided to proceed with the creation of a DIY first surface mirror, my fear is that the reflective layer, now exposed to the atmosphere, would oxidize quickly. I read in your comments that you initially also thought about opting for this solution: did you have a workaround in mind to solve the oxidation problem? Can you suggest an idea to protect the reflective layer once exposed?
@@federicohapablap3571 I don't have any ideas, a spray clear coat may distort the image. epoxy would work, but then you'd have the same gap as with glass. Let me know if you figure something out.
Holy Guacamoly! What a nice idea! Well done. 👍
Thank you! 😊
Best one ive seen.
Thanks
