It's always interesting to me when the main character isn't necessarily likeable, because Selena is...rough. It's keeping me engaged though, because I like that as a reader I'm being pushed to accept an imperfect lead that isn't the typical female character you'd find in most novels within this genre

3:36. Didn’t like the female main character. Three hours of “i am better, i i am this, i am that”. She says she is selfless but all i get in three hours how selfish she is. There is this bitterness bit still don’t know the reason.

I found the entire collection on Amazon/audible I had free credits so it was free.

7:55 Author, seriously, please don't make teens dream of going to the crime capitals of the US. I lived by LA. Do you know what is there? Homeless camps, the smell of pee, people who will walk by you on the street who wouldn't stop walking if you dropped dead next to them. The rural US now outnumbers the cities. City people know they are terrible places. Only fools who don't pay a bit of sense to the news still think they are a place to dream of going to. Also I really find it concerning you put souch focus on men leering at her on the plane. I'm 32 and it's the first book I've ever seen an author assume all men are scum that would in majority stare with lust on an airplane. It's especially troubling because the majority of the age group who becomes trans are tween girls going in to puberty who are uncomfortable with their body changing. Great job, just keep pushing teen girls to feel insecure about the male gaze.

LOVE LOVE the narrators for this book WOW. Especially the one for Piper. Would adore the other books in the series read by them!
