Your pronunciation wasn't that bad. Things to note in Polish: Polish is phonetic. Generally the way it's written is the way you read it. "C"s not followed by an h are all soft (in ch the c is silent). Both U and that O with accent make an "oo" sound. O sounds like the O in oh. W sounds like V. J sounds like consonant Y. "A"s all sound like the "A"s in Banana. "i"s all sound like "ee". "E"s all sound like the e in Cinema. L with the strikethrough sounds like wh in whisky. Y is a pain in the ass to describe. Then for the double constants: Cz sounds like Ch or the Cz in Czech. Sz sounds like sh. Ch sounds like just h, the c is silent. Ks sounds like x. Rz is a pain in the ass that I have no idea how to describe. So for example dwojka is pronounced like dvoy-ka. Endecja would be something like en-de-cya.
