That’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it. Maybe you don’t like how modern boots are made or something I’m not sure but I’ve worn these boots in a few styles for over 5 years in all sorts of environments and they perform better than some high end boots I’ve owned like red wing

@@VikingZeroReviews At the moment it is, besides Propel Grape lol. I haven't tried all the popular brands yet. And many that have vitamins taste like Flintstone Vitamins lol. Or have an aftertaste.

@@VikingZeroReviews not too bad. I went while I was still in High School so having to go through all the processings of getting into the military was a lot to take in at first. But I loved the military. I know not every veteran is a good person, but most active duty/veterans I’ve ever met were actually genuine good people at heart.

@@VikingZeroReviews you’ll enjoy it. Since you’re older, you’ll probably get like “extra duties” once you’re fully in. Plus while you’re in, your college is covered if you wanna do that. When you get out you can get awarded a GI Bill I believe where the VA pays for your schooling and it doesn’t have to be university-type school for a degree. It can be for a trade and you end up saving more of your money. But all-in-all it’s a good time (especially depends on what career path you choose when you join).

Yes I have an appointment Thursday , just found out they had changed the age limit all this time I was thinking it was 35 and I was too late .. Can’t wait to go to my appointment. The only thing is I don’t have any degrees

If this guy is 5 ft 10 and almost 400 lbs he will not pass the physical. He his about 220 lbs overweight for his height. Someone should of told him this the military requires you to physically fit and meet the weight requirements for your height.

@@RodneyDempsey-o8w it’s easy to lose weight with some coaching. If he wants to join he could absolutely lose the weight with some serious consistency

@@VikingZeroReviews like I said he is about 220 lbs overweight that would not be easy and he is 40 years old. I think age limit is 41 or 42 years so he doesn't have a lot of time. Also he said when he got out of high school he weighed around 280 to 290 lbs so it sounds like he has had a weight problem all his life. I am not trying to be mean just trying to advise him based on my 20 years in the navy. I seen a lot people get discharged for being a few pounds overweight and not being able to pass the physical readiness test.

@@RodneyDempsey-o8w you have to finish boot camp before you turn 42. I lost 80lbs in 7 months myself. It’s totally possible and yeah it would be hard work but if it’s his dream it’s worth trying

@shab5204 I took the practice test that was only like 12 questions 1st. It's to help see where you are academically. Then I took the Picat 2nd. You have to go back & retake the PICAT a 2nd time to verify your answers. & I failed😩 If you fail it automatically kicks you right into the ASVAB. Good thing I did because I wound up scoring higher on the ASVAB ehen that happened. Shocked myself😂

@@VikingZeroReviews my ship out date got pushed back from February to May due to some medical tests i needed filled out. That gave us time to think that it might not be for us.

@@VikingZeroReviews yeah I considered reserves but since I wanted to do it mostly for retirement, it’s either go all out or just stay on my civilian job.

I think this will be an awesome option for people afraid of needles or people with no time to go to a lab they can do this on their own time

​@VikingZeroReviews don't get discouraged. Everything will work out. My process has also been very tedious with waiting for paperwork & everything. I started in May just got my ship out date last month. & still don't ship out til November. I look at it as, it gives me more time to prepare these 40yr old bones til then😂 STICK WITH IT!!!!💪🏽
