Eh, I'd argue the a6400 even for photos is better. (depending on what you shoot) The a6400 is so much faster and has so many more AF points. I think those 2 things alone make up for the smaller sensor. Unless your shooting for billboards or large prints the a6400 wins in both photo and video. BUT! Great video sir!

Great Video Zac, I have a question, I hope you can help me decide to buy the right filter. I just bought Sigma 24-70 for Canon Mark 6D II. Now I am looking to buy a filter to protect the lens. Should I buy 82mm Variable ND Filter ND2-ND400 or a UV filter? Also, I don't prefer to change the filter when I use the camera. Please advise. Thanks

Still using the A7Riii and the results are NO different than when it was released. I use it for portrait and sports photography.. sure looking at the newer models and how crazy fast and sticky the new auto focus are now a days, the a7riii still just works. I almost got fomo, but in the end the autofocus is still fine for needs when it was released and still today.

The shutter speed has to be doubled from the frame rate, but how much further can the shutter speed be increased in a dance music video?

This is helpful. I am new into photography outside of point n click and want to learn as much as possible and those menus are overwhelming. I came from an other of your video(menu settings) to this one. Any other advice as to better understanding aperture/iso/shudder? Fyi h265 is actually more compressed than h264, it’s just twice as efficient at compression so you get double the data in the same file size ✌️

If you aren’t slowing down you should probably shoot at 24fps

Why does my a7ii in xavc s only allow me 50 or 25 frames? Not like 30 or 24 that im used to?
