When the Beatles originally recorded it, they played it really fast and the slowed it down before they put it on the album to give it a weird, dreamy feel. Either ND did the same thing, or gwen sang like that on purpose to emulate that type of of sound. That's why she sounds stoned.

@ForTheBeatles4 Hey, buddy....How do I say this. The whole point of a cover isn't really suppose to try and do a song better. It's to show appreciation for the song, and try to put your own spin on it, kind of like the Johnny Cash cover of NIN's Hurt. Johnny Cash, took the song, and poured his emotions into it. Making it a different song. Now I do agree, this is a horrible cover, but It's kind of pointless to say she will never be better than the Beatles because she wasn't trying to.

Respond to this video... Perhaps their style did change over time but that doesn't mean they ever reached a point where the sounded that good to mean. That being said even I have a favorite Beatles song. So I do appreciate their place in music history. They deserve it. But, I'd rather listen to THE DOORS any day. I'm sorry if the fact that I have a brain & was able to come to my own conclusion on whether I like something or not offends you.
@MrMGD92 I was listening to their songs on here so I could say I gave them a fair chance. I don't dislike the Beatles because I want to piss people off. It's just my opinion that 99.9 percent of their music isn't my cup of tea. Yes I said they were overrated. I could've said something far worse but I didn't feel I needed to be that crass.
