I think I've got a new one that I'll call user sort. Basically, the algorithm asks a human to sort the array and then check if it's sorted. There could even be one where it doesn't check if the array is sorted.

Skull sort: Takes each element, waits 1-30 seconds, swaps it randomly with any other element, and repeat until sorted. If the list is sorted, scramble list. This is the theoretical slowest algorithm ever.

A twist on Quantum Bogosort: Nosort. Simply assume we're in the universe where any data we want to read is already in a usable order for the current need. There's never a need to perform any sorts or even design sorting algorithms. If anything ever breaks and it's determined that the data being used wasn't initially in the correct order, the universe is abandoned (since universe destruction requires an operation). Abandonment entails just giving up and waiting around for natural universal heat death. With the time saved not having to think about sorting, some might even say Nosort has negative time complexity.

Studying computer science is great, but the work is bad. It is not about the fear of failure or stress, but the fact that IT projects are often difficult and flawed. They abuse workers for bad IT projects. There is no good job in IT. Only bad work and even worse work. The worst is writing SQL queries, solving difficult data models, optimization. It is hard and nasty work :)

Miracle sort can actually work! Solar rays constantly enter Earth's upper atmosphere, creating neutrinos that are constantly passing through the earth, due to their low mass and neutral charge. Such a neutrino could pass through a transistor in a computer, flipping its state. A few occurrences have actually been observed, though the chances are miniscule. This way, the correct transistors could be flipped, resulting in the sorting of the list!

I am proposing a new sorting method called "Pretty Inefficient Sort." In this method, each number in the list is individually compared with every other number, and the results are stored in a temporary comparison table. Using this table, the correct position of the current number is determined, and the list is adjusted accordingly. This process is repeated for every number in the list, with a new comparison table generated for each iteration. While the method is straightforward, it is intentionally inefficient due to its repetitive comparisons and modifications, making it more of a conceptual or experimental approach than practical.

Great! I am a Mathematician and a Computer Scientist, and I didn't know those by myself? Do you know Spaghetti sort? You order a set of raw spaghetti of different lengths by grabbing them in one hand and push them gently to the ground in a bundle. The longest one will stick out prominently. You get the largest one(s). You pick them out, and you take the next and so on. It actually works.
