Yeah it's an odd mix I think. I love riding but also love the push. This trip was a crazy day and I just wasn't feeling it...which is hard after driving one and a half hours. You're right though, worst case scenario it's a good exercise! It's a good line though.

Tbh I don't know what it was that was stopping me. I do think riding alone plays a part. I do have the broken leg at the back of my head but that was minor. Your idea of ticking things of mentally is a good one. Just slowly making sure I've got all basics covered.

@dannyfitzmtb progression is sweet but only do it when you're feeling it and not before. But looking at the berm before the jump you could be pumping or putting in a couple of cranks? But it's hard to say from the video but how large is the gap 1.5 / 2 bike lengths?

It's always a blast hitting tunnel hill. 33k is huge amount 😅

It's in-between twin bridges and Baldrick's cunning plan. Basically on the same hill as those two. Covered in heavy gorse. 😅

Oh and the last one is called wibbly wobbly basically running the length of the Farnborough road from Farnham to Aldershot stretch.

Thanks @dannyfitzmtb, I tried looking on strava for wibbly wobbly but had no luck. However now I know where about it is I should be able to pin it down. I guess it takes you down towards the Penguin trail.

I managed to find both trails today, the jump trail looks far more intense in person and one I quickly passed on 🤣

Yeah I've been thinking of doing a group ride. Maybe I'll put out some feelers see who might be interested.

@@dannyfitzmtb Actually a short day, my lad fell off and knocked his elbow bad enough to force two weeks rest. I got a few goes on the short set of doubles near the exit (not the bazooka line :-o ) then we went home and on to minor injuries.

No drops at all for me due to that but I know I've got the first two and I know I am not on for the bigger one yet! The lads (read blokes old enough to know better!!) we went with got some good runs down and over the small road gap and on to the final jumps in the woods, full T2B stuff for them :))
