I first saw the series in my early twenties. it was an incredible experience and its message stuck with me for life. I remember how much I liked how the character's drug addiction, narcissistic personality, and inability to love were portrayed. Now I'm thirty and I watched the series again. It was shocking that, in addition to the previously interesting and exciting elements, a lot of other things captured my soul. Such was the difficulty of finding a partner, the constant pursuit of success, the fact that a person cannot change completely, and the issue of aging. It was the scene that hasn't let me rest since I saw it again. I am thirty years old now, and in addition to the cathartic experience, watching the series again left me with fear and despair. I'm thirty and I don't know if there's any point in pursuing anything. I'm thirty and I don't know if I'll ever reach the state I think of as "happiness". I'm thirty, and I hope that ten years from now, when I watch the series again for the third time, I won't be able to identify with it.

Season four's really boring, but I will never understand the hate for this episode. It's probably one of the best of the season just because of this song. Hell, just for this production by Göransson alone it's up there, the lyrics are just a nice little cherry on top.
