Let's Play - Total War: Warhammer I Ep. Four
Decided to get this game as a birthday present for myself because I always wanted to get into Warhammer and Total War. Episode One is lost but here in episode four I secure the south lands by nearly wiping the Orcs and Goblins off the map completely. The High King helped the humans in a valiant display defeating two armies of Chaos at the same time in three pitch battels until their heroes were all slain. This impressive display came after the Armies of Chaos devastated everyone else almost completely. What can I say Dwarves are designed to kill Chaos!

Elements of Delusionalism in Starfield - Art Theory

Years ago, just after college while working at the MoMA in Texas I wrote a paper that most people said was too long detailing what I believed was a new form of art. The movement I dubbed "delusionalism" is defined by abstracting concepts of art to incorporate them into a fictional reality such as a video game; ergo the fine art quality of the work is derived from the viewers acceptance of the r...

      @@Ofminnesota ruclips.net/video/xgL_o2hZWxY/видео.htmlsi=F-Bka0BoAOziuGlM - That should take you to the first video in the series. In it I review the data we modeled from the FBI and ADL on antisemitic hate crime activity in the USA alongside studies published within the PubMed database. We looked at the effects Bioethical papers had on hate crime and antisemitism as well as the several more which used the exact same terminology, methodology, and created the same exact stereotypes historical antisemitic hate groups have. In video two in the series I review the section on the history regarding this sort of stereotyping. We combed through and compiled roughly 800 years of studies. Many of which were once thought to be medical fact or only possible due to new technologies. Again same terminology, methodology, and systematic propagation of a very antisemitic rhetoric. I have two more sections that discuss the ramifications of what we are addressing and then I will start to review the sections which use the scientific method, NIH guidelines, common sense, historical fact, and anthology discredit the studies we reviewed. There will be a new video each Sunday until I finish the series.

      Thanks! Since eugenic studies regarding the genetics of Jews began we have steadily seen an increase in antisemitic hate crime nationally. Hate Crime figures have tripled since this type of "science" began to be published and of course Judaism is the only religion targeted by such studies. I have been wrestling with my own community over this because a large number of the studies came from places seen as Jewish but the act of participating/conducting one of these studies actually verbatim is a conversion away from Judaism to another already established religion. So the question is now what is the faith of a Jew when the Torah is replaced by the values of the Catholic Inquisition?

      @@aydahtron Sorry to hear that and I can relate. The country is going through some real problems right now. Maybe even worse than in the 5750s/1990s. Shas (שס) which pitches itself as the "Orthodox" party sort of took under Netanyahu along with a ton of other extremists from Likud (ליכוד) and others. "Orthodox" is in quotes because Shas is not at all Orthodox but more so neo-Catholic in that they believe the Messiah has come and G-D is corporealized within their blood - ignoring all together the soul. Shas (שס) believes in "science" and not G-D so they have been counting Jews and cataloging us. And by "science" I mean pseudo-scientific eugenic propaganda. Many Palestinians are pissed because even if they converted to Judaism Shas (שס) is preventing them from being full members of the community per Kedoshim or Lev. 19:31-32 which is an abomination of Moloch. These extremists polarized the government and in order to maintain control Netanyahu started wrangling for power under the Israeli parliamentary system in a similar fashion as Al-Sisi had/is done/doing in Egypt. The Israelis (including Palestinian Israelis) split as many wanted democracy but were being locked out of a system by the extremists who took control. My family supported Labor (עבודה) and I am pretty sure my cousins are still on their side. The last election, if I had been in Israel, I would have voted for the New Economic Party (המפלגה הכלכלית החדשה) because they actually had an economic recovery plan where as Likud (ליכוד) and the others didn't but they had no chance. So, Netanyahu and the extremists remained in power. Then the Intifada started because some "Orthodox" group (again in parentheses because they aren't really Orthodox more like neo-Catholics) went up to the Temple Mount on Rosh Hashanah. So now Hamas is pissed and like I don't at all agree with Hamas but those people had no right to be on the Temple Mount. No one does except the Moshiac. Which is another dynamic to this mess because the extremists overtook the Rabbinate when Netanyahu took power so the Chabadniks and others are trying to force the arrival of a Moshiac before it is time. And I do have Chabadnik friends and there are some I would defend but others corrupted the Rebbe to make him and idol which is why I don't do Chabad... they are too corporate and inherently create idolatry. It is the same for the Reform. I claimed to be Conservative because in California as a kid we were but the only community in Texas growing up was Reform and it was honestly a really good community looking back. Heck, I learned more about the Holocaust at some small Reform shul in Texas than most people in New York do. Which is just fucked. Gosh look at me ramble. The point is there is a three to four way Civil War in Israel right now. My cousins and friends are safe but the country is on lock down with communication black outs and a whole lot of other crap going on.

      I am seeking to ammendment Title VI (education) of the Civil Rights Act to mirror the language of Title VII (employment) of the Civil Rights Act so that it will include protection for religious communities along with atheist. ruclips.net/video/Lz0UNwlWLwA/видео.html I filed against the US Department of Education on the grounds of religious discrimination following the attacks on the Jewish community in San Diego roughly three years ago during the Holiday of Passover. The original claim was denied because religion is not protected by Title VI like it is by Title VII and thus students can be segregated due to their religious beliefs or what I was particularly attempted to combat were the large number of genetic stereotypes which target religious minorities as well as non-religious minorities. In particular the curriculum being taught which teaches others Jews are disproportionately more inclined to be carriers of genetic disorders such as Tay-Sachs or Cavanaugh Disease or that there is a genetic marker which can bebused to detect Jewish ancestry is to the letter of the definition Nazism; and it was because of the proliferation of this rhetoric in publicly funded educational facilities and programs nationally that we saw hate crime targetting the Jewish community as well as others such as the Islamic community who were also attacked in San Diego the week just before Passover. Following the first filing against the US Department of Education the University of Michigan removed the identity content from their curriculum on genetics and the two proceedings years hate crime statistics in the area and surrounding suburbs dropped off massively. The same happened in Europe as Mischling Testing which identified people as Jewish by what they perceived to be shared genetic characteristics started during the Weimar Republic era as an innocent medical evaluation meant to increase public health and was endorsed by elements of the Jewish community. encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/science-as-salvation-weimar-eugenics-1919-1933 Even following the election of Adolf Hitler this sort of testing was initially mundane and not laced with slurs but the public who were trained by schools to recognize Jews as a genetic health risk began to use them and that is when the Nuremberg Laws were enacted nearly 20 years after it started, really 70 because it went back further than the Weimar era. encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/the-biological-state-nazi-racial-hygiene-1933-1939 As such this was a major concern of mine so I decided to take it to court. What is interesting is that the genetics community is very aware of this and in agreement with me in combating eugenic ideologies. The American Society of Human Genetics issued an apology for supporting the identified curriculum previously. www.ashg.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/ASHG-Facing-Our-History-Initiative-Statement-and-Press-Release-NOT-EMBARGOED.pdf And the Human Genome Project created a task force to try and address it as well. www.genome.gov/Funded-Programs-Projects/ELSI-Research-Program-ethical-legal-social-implications I also work in IT for the State hospitals in NYC and not only have they been retraining college graduates in order to curtail bigotry in medicine but also last night they sent a letter to me saying: "We applaud your personal efforts and the passion behind your initiative. [Redacted Section] At our core at [Redacted], the goal is Health Equity through diversity and inclusion. We are committed to fostering an environment rid of stereotypes, bias, or microinequities. Having you on our team says that we already headed in the right direction." I had to redact parts because I haven't reach out to check with their legal on whether I can share the statement and so I don't want to identify the company. Sorry, but a littler research or if you work for them then you know already. Anyway I am rambling. Maybe I'll do a real follow-up to discuss all of it but then long short is I accidentally became a Jewish Civil Rights advocate and it is destroying my life. Lol

    How can “Dayenu” be the song that the Israelites sang while crossing the Red Sea, when the stanzas 9 and 10 refer to events which occurred AFTER crossing the Red Sea? And if it’s as old as all that, why is its melody a polka?

    • @haydenbsiegel
      @haydenbsiegel 2 года назад

      That portion of the account it based on belief we don't have archeological records of how it was actually written or when. Even the theory that the last 5 stanzas were written later is contested; although it is the most popularly held theory it is still just a theory. I base my belief on the song being sung back then on my experience as a song writer. My song "Independence" (ruclips.net/video/-xreggrRAXw/видео.html) was originally written with one verse back in 5768 (2008ce) but the second verse I wrote in 5773 (2013ce) and the Chorus in 5774 (2014ce). I imagine the first 5 Stanzas were sung up to the first Shabbat and then they started adding stanzas from then onwards. It is a folk song after all though so the creation of the song is steeped in myth and legend. Polka developed out of Klzemer which is Jewish folk music. I did a video on the overview of Klzemer that you can find here: ruclips.net/video/g8xF83d7jcY/видео.html

    Can you tell me which one of the listed in the description is the song written in 5271? Finding the video extremely helpful so far.

      It wouldn't be really possible to get a recording of something from back then which hasn't been altered. These songs were passed down mostly orally and were reinterpreted over and over but "Lullaby" is from sometime in the 5400s. This version has been heavily adapted. open.spotify.com/track/4wSx8wZOD1K54B5CutOmKX?si=cEu2ZEUWTleGgMN0h2EEAw& Possibly you could count some of Solomon de'Rossi's non-Cantoral music as Klzemer. Such as this dance song by Solomon de'Rossi open.spotify.com/track/65uGsrrsbEpjIDMYxxVwZd?si=mMakPNUMRW-0yQKHZPHocg& By today's standard though this would be more so classical music though even though back then it would have been Klzemer. It is from a little after the date you are looking for, maybe 60 years or so.
