Can a person buy a piece of land and park an RV on it and live on it whilst having a house built? I’m talking about more inland. I understand we’d have no amenities. In my opinion, only certain parts of Belize is safe.

That's the biggest misconception people in Belize have about the people visiting from the USA.

I have never been to Placencia.

It's very hot in the summer months. Every so often the electricity goes off. Sometimes for an hour or more. I found that to be annoying. Anyway, I still love to visit Belize, because no place like home.

I personally couldn't live in your area. I like to live near people, stores, and business places. I'm a city girl. I like a little noise every now and then to make me feel alive. I hope everything goes well for you out there. 🙏🙏🙏

I can relate to what you're saying. I'm from Belize City, but living abroad. I was in Belize this past April and I spent 2 weeks. I noticed lot's of bew developments and new highway. Belize is becoming more modernized. I noticed it has gotten very expensive and nothing much to do at night. I was bored out of my mind. I was supposed to stay one month, but cut my trip in half. Yes, it is lovely in the morning! I remember the birds and roosters crowing. Going for a quick run in the morning before it got too warm... yet the fog somehow warmed us up anyways. Thank you for the beautiful visual and sounds. I love hearing the wild birds anywhere in the world, but Belize just has something special for me.

Why are you fighting with the vegetation, and how fast things grow in Belize? Why aren't you hiring WORKERS to do these JOBS for you? Do you realize that Central America has all the WORKERS you need...at a fraction of the cost in the USA.
