Nevermind, I think it's cause you're routing every source. I just like the music volume low when I play it, but louder on stream. Not sure that's possible since the Fader on the GoXLR adjusts everyone's volume.

You need to run an audio cable from the line out to your controller and route the voice chat there. Since the controller is expecting a headset, you need a splitter for the controller

You are talking about two different audio path. For game sound to stream what you are saying is correct. Don’t forget the optical cable from the extractor to the GOXLR For people in game to hear you it’s goxlr line out to adapter to controller

@@PixelBeard right now I have everything working perfectly without the extractor, optical, and the AUX cable besides the in game chat. That’s what I want lol! So the only hardware I’d need is the extractor box, optical cable, and single AUX cable? Could I use the one that came with my Xbox headset since it’s single post to a splitter? I’m trying to make a purchase today and making sure I have everything in my cart. I appreciate the fast replies!

If you have everything working the way you need and only want people in game to hear you, you do not need the extractor. The extractor is to control the game audio with your goXLR. For people to hear you you need to connect the line out from the goxlr to your controller

I just updated to 28, I had to replace my OBScommand install with the latest and change some command All the basic are the same but a lot of /command and /json have changed (like filter visibility has changed to filter enabled and set source settings changed to set input setting ) I had to update close to 100 command, (I opened them in text and used text replace ) Hope this helps

Also make sure you re-change your password in obs websocket to the one you used before.

I used to run Xbox party from my computer for that reason. Otherwise you could run your party to headset only and route the headset to the line in. Then use the optical input for your game sound and monitor everything from the goXLR

Not this way I’m afraid. I used this plugin specifically because having an overlay turn off while holding a key is complex. For audio there is definitely better option than in OBS, I would look at auto-hotkey type tutorial

I use the optical cable for stream and keep the audio from the HDMI of the elgato

I don’t have a video as I do not have a series x at the moment but it is indeed doable. I bought a 4K audio extractor that I connect between my Xbox and capture card. It has an optical output.

@@PixelBeard if your not looking for 4k30 or 1080p 60 make sure they do above a lot of them dont pass through say 1440p 120 or 4k 120

Back when the series x first came out, none of them supported HDMI 2.1. I would say to focus on 444 sub sampling and 4K 60 since it’s also a limitation of most capture card ( if not all atm)

Hello!, are you using a CTIA splitter? The y cable that separate microphone and controller? You would have issue with the pin out outherwise and might only get one side

Just skip the XLR, it’s a great device but you won’t enjoy it until you need it. If you have a USB mic, just use software for your sound and potential voice effect

That’s probably because you can’t. If I’m not mistaken you would not get it recording clip without the Goxlr either. You need to record using a PC for that

Hi! You would put it in the action group after the wait. So when the file gets updated to OFF it will tell your chat at the same time. Hopefully this answer your question. Bonus you could make it a conditional that only do the chat command if the text file is set to “ON” this way you could have a cancel timer command Have fun

@@PixelBeard the way I did it was I created a wait command after each conditional with a timer then created a chat command after it

Update: That is exactly what it does. It runs the Action Group but then goes in to a cycle of disconnecting the websocket, then reconnecting it once for each time the command is used in the action script. Newest versions of everything installed.
