HEATER BROKEN. Can it be fixed? Repairing a 12 year old portable electric heater.

The fan in this electric heater will not turn. I really liked this heater because it was quiet and had the sealed aluminum heater block that put out a lot of heat. Using common tools and materials I am able to fix it. I rarely see the sealed aluminum heating element blocks in these small heaters. This one has put in years of good service for me. Acetone, synthetic lubricant, screw driver and pliers, with a little trick to repair a broken fan blade shaft hub, it is restored back to quiet and HOT operation.
