Highly recommend. The fishing and location were great on the two occasions I fished with Roberto.

No better place to try it with so many big fish around. It was my second outing with EbroAventura, and hopefully not the my last.

The Danube and it's delta are rich in biodiversity. This is just one of the numerous ecosystems of the delta.....also happens to be the place I grew up and learnt to fish in the early 80s.

The region is also great value compared to what we're used to in Aus

Hey David. Might be an interesting destination for the fly fisher. I couldn't say how readily these species take the fly, but the mass is certainly there to give it a real crack.

My videos are not for everyone but the Genoa is. Agree certain waterways should remain anonymous, but it is no secret the Genoa holds bass and a Google search confirms this. My favourite is the Victorian Fisheries Authority website and the Inland Angling Guide describing the "abundant" population of bass. A great public resource (vfa.vic.gov.au/recreational-fishing/fishing-locations/inland-angling-guide/areas/east-gippsland/east-gippsland-angling-waters#genoa). This happens to be the same publication I used in the 90s as reference. Add to this the fact that Mallacoota and the Genoa are the most popular fisheries in far East Gippsland attracting thousands of visiting anglers from all over, and there simply isn't a more popular waterway in the region. The bass have always been available for the angler willing to put in the hard yards. If anything, rising awareness, good management practices including stream rehabilitation works have only improved the fishery.

Hi. The average Aimara was solid, I would estimate close to 70cm. See 19min for a good example of the average size fish. Very few small fish were caught during the 5 days of fishing.

Hope you have a great trip. The kayaks were rentals from www.ebroaventura.com/ Arrange kayaks, drop off and pick-up with Robert, he operates out of Zaragoza. You should catch a few. Chances of catching a giant increase ehen the river is runny high and muddy.

Almost unbelievable, even for me. You have no idea how fortunate I feel, making the most of my situation while it lasts.

Indeed a cool looking fish. Apparently the fish congregate below the weir and are caught all year. Not a spawning run and the warmer months are best for fishing. Some big ones amongst them! Unsure about the darker fish but they're occasionally caught in the area. Also some long nose / alligator hybrids.

I also thought gar were only ever caught on bait but they readily take lures. Caught a bunch in a single morning and Kirk Kirkland gets a few big ones doing it from time to time.

Agree, travel is challenging but well worth the effort....and the food is fine, the French look after you.

It was a 4-piece travel rod. The Fishman BC4 5.10XH (www.fish-man.com/bc4.html). Daiwa Lexa TW 300 reel with 13kg drag loaded with Sunline PE6 braid. I was impressed with the multi piece rod handling all 13kg of locked drag pressure.

Kept this one to myself for a long time but it is the buffalo. The nearby ovens holds a better population of cod but the river also has more rapids to deal with.

Hello. I don't know the name of the river but it is located in East Borneo, Indonesia. When the river is runs clean, fly fishing will be great. In addition to Green Mahseer and monstrous Hampala Bard, the Red Mahseer also call these waters home but these big fish beat us every time. Check out Ku-kar Mahseer (Anaz) on Facebook. You will find good cod water everywhere north and north east of Shepparton all the way to the alpine foothills. This session was on the Broken.

Approximately 2hrs north of KL, Malaysia. In the Selangor and Pehang border region. The small clear hillside streams had Sikang. Darren Shan, a local Malaysia fishing guide knows the area best.
