How to make bug spray from wild Dog Fennel.
No seasoning? No salt or pepper?
Good one, thanks.
Thank you
Don't steam anything, just eat it raw.
I've been spraying these weeds from hell for years here in northern Colorado.
Can berries that have dried on the bush be used the same as if I dried them in a dehydrator
Thanks for sharing
Thank you! Short, to the point, clear instructions :)
You can eat the pedals they are sweet! Got to get the pedals fresh! Pluck the purple pedal and suck on it! You have to get to the pedals deep root!
U don't need all that stuff. All u need is carrots, onions, jalapeños, salt n vinegar.
Pokeweed grows around our chicken pen, I don't know if they eat the berries, I bet they do, little buggers, but it's never been a problem. I know other birds eat the berries, those are the reason for the purple streaks on your car long after the blackberries are gone. 😂😂😂
It’s also medium poisonous ☠️ I just found this growing in my yard and have been looking it up.
So what ailments does it alleviate?
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Steeping right now and boy, do i need it! ❤ Great presentation.
Why aren't the seeds edible? I have an Asian friend who ate the seeds all the time, and is quite healthy now.
Where can you buy the tea?
Thanks
I was hoping to watch the second part of this video so that I know what to do once the tincture is done. If you’re not going to make another video, could you post in the comments what to do next? Thank you.
No one grows these things deliberately! I agree!! I’m planting stinging nettles, yes on purpose. 😂
I do grow them in my garden, bees also love them!
@@within2 Dad saw me getting rid of some today before they seed out and hollered at me. Lol. I explained that I left plenty for the bees where I don’t walk around. :) Bees are how we make mead so no worries. Not harming their supply.
Grew up in the south. My mama thought it was a great switch. Of course I disagreed with her for obvious reasons. LOL
While I appreciate your efforts I have been digging them out of my pasture for weeks. It sounds like you have a lot of book knowledge but not experience? Be safe
So after it sits then what how do u take it?
As needed . Usually 1-2 droppers 3 x daily. As with all tinctures… adjust to your needs. That’s only my experience. 👍
inulin is an excellent prebiotic. Good for your GI.
Can I dry the flowers 🌸
Yes you can, for tea or art work …
CAN YOU MAKE TEA WITH THE FLOWERS??
Oh my God, why don’t you just have all of them ready and in the jar when you start this process I’m exhausted already
Yeah, I feel the same way. Simplfy for time!!
Gosh maybe you need to take some mimosa tincture to help you relax! 2 minutes while she describes benefits is too much for you?
After I get all the stems and gunk off, I put mine in a salad spinner to hopefully spin off as much as I can. Works great.
What happens if you leave the stems?
✨👏🏼♥️👍🏼✨
I love the smell of dog fennel. Smells piney and like country to me. Works really well to smoke the plants over a small fire. Also, something that works better than dog fennel is American Beautyberry leaves. Chop and Soak in Rubbing alcohol for about 36-48 hours , strain into a spray bottle and you’re done. When you spray it on your skin the alcohol evaporates but leaves behind the chemical in the leaves. It’s completely odorless and studies show that it is as effective as Deet. Nice video btw.

Non-native invasive tree. Don’t plant.
U got that 👍 right
It would help if you say what you are using, what type of alcohol and how long exactly you leave it infuse. Don't let people wonder, please, it's super annoying. And then what follows, I can't wait for another video to come up.
She clearly says and shows that she is using Everclear
@@TheJanieBing what is everclear?
I will use a blender.
WHAT Is ever clear
It's an alcohol sold in liquor stores.
Nice! I’ve never canned anything before. So this was very interesting.
I have watched several of your videos, and most of them don’t give you all the information before they cut off!!!!!😢
Love the info. Subscribed. 👍
Why do you peel ?
❤ new sub
Bull thistles are GREAT for drawing in pollinators! And, unlike other flowers, the thorns will keep cats and other animals away from damaging them. Hell, they're tough, they grow anywhere, and the bees adore them. Sign me up!

Danke aus Deutschland für das Rezept. Habe mir amerikanische Kermesbeere (pokeberry) aus Slowenien mitgebracht.
What did you pour in???
Everclear.. it's a type of grain alcohol.
Missing a lot of content for something that could have dire consequences if done wrong great medicine as i understand.
"Tea thing"❤
Tea ball😊
How do you make buffaloberry jelly?
Not worth the waste or watter, and it seems like it takes to long,
Looks easy and delicious, I have a craving to make, and thank you.
I think that is a beautiful color. Did it fade?
