I have an ovation preacher .. it looks exactly the same as the one in this video. IT PLAYS AND SOUNDS PERFECT. .. I recommend one,but stay away from the 'deluxe' version.

This phaser is awesome, and I scored one in mint condition. Filming the review for my channel was super fun, especially with the Korg PolySix and Roland Juno-106 presets. Pairing it with the AMT TH-1 reverb pedal made it even better.

Yeah man - the exact center of the butt end of the heel on each neck is the same distance to the nut - so we'll see how close when I take it my buddy Matt ( M-tone) who's gonna round off a Tele neck to fit in a Strat pocket next week Thanks for the vid

Loved your video ! Not only a great guitar , but the playing left me with some head scratching ! I am 76 years old , ( been playing since 1963) and have played with lefties with their upside down guitars . But this was the first time I have seen it done so fluid and without any strange finger or hand movement . Most of all , you played all he strings without substituting or omitting licks that are awkward .. I am giving you a big hand , Man , and I think the switch to right hand is genuis . I tried to play my guitars left handed upside down and looked like a 5 year old . ( not in a good way ) ! Great job , keep up the videos , good luck on your business . Oh , and you are a certified guitar player in my book !

Hey, did you sell that guitar yet? I think that was the one that Eric built for me. I wanted th thin neck I wanted those fat frets like I have on the L5. They had the same beautiful top with the hand made Pock guard. I can dig out some photographs if you want to see it. I'd love to have it back. He made it in the 80s..

I have one exactly the same and totally original ! Never really use it but when I do it’s a lot of fun!

Not as big a fan as I am of the original 1.5 volt fz1 but this still sounds pretty sweet, different flavour altogether. Very cool

I found a mint '62 Teisco mustang, completely unbranded and unplayed. I had to plug, shim and redrill the neck, which is made of Korina! ; and I fashioned a new compensated bridge out of Brazilian cherry. The scale length was over 1/4in too short (hence the lack of play wear). Now it is amazing! The pickguard is thick polished chrome steel with a single center pup. I don't know if the Chrome guard is the reason it has no 60hz hum, but it is dead Silent. I named it Ichiro.

The magic of the Gator is when you run a drum machine into the sidechain trigger input. Synched and patterned Tremolo!

Just waiting with much trepidation for the courier to deliver my made in Korea Mach IV in candy apple red with the jazzmaster tremolo. A mosrite style is missing from my collection and the Mach IV was the stand out. Can’t wait! Peace and love from Australia

Great to see people developing their own repair techniques. Have you tried the clamp and steam neck reset for cheaper guitars? It has worked for me every time except for once.

I just bought one of these, the Hondo II. Mine's missing the pick guard but otherwise identical. Never realized these things had such a history!

I've got the two knob version, it's a great phaser, the best one I've got for sure, perfect for Floydian vibes.

First time watching your videos. In high school, I had a band with my buddies. One was left-handed, our drummer. He really wanted to learn guitar. I thought him to play, upside down on a right-handed Strat. He caught on and still plays that way to this day. As a benefit, I became a better player too!

This color rocks! I reminds me of a 80's Mosrite; the one full rounded without German carve (M88?) Why not a tripple black and/or tripple white?

Sounds cool. My volume knob does a similar thing, but cuts all the sound like a button.
