Can anyone tell me why nothing shows up in the crafting area under the fiber section? I cannot make cloth because there are no options for crafting there. I have like 75 so I don't think its about amount.

Funny how you instructed young people to ask their parents about the way children are born... (Lmao)!!! I have questions though: 1. You mentioned about the upgrades when children are in the home? My understanding isn't good on that one. 2. Fields timing (I should know this at my age)... 3. where & when do I place the pyre?, away from town or...? Clearly, I'll have to refer back to this video. Raiders and dummy walls... It's like the old legend about vampires having to stop and count spilled grain. Normally I don't like that sort of metagaming, but given that your pop AI is just as dumb, it seems only fair to exploit the Raider AI, as well. And, as you point out, it does prolong the attack, which has pros and cons of its own. If you enjoyed this scenario, I would recommend the "Realistic Stone Age" mod, which has a rather brutal Raider mode, as well as a no-Raider builder mode (which is quite challenging on its own). The scenario is based on actual prehistory, so there are no anachronistic megafauna, and resources are somewhat harder to come by, but you can also build a settlement of up to 1,000+ souls. Or, if the Stone Age has lost its luster, I highly recommend the Victorian Steampunk survival game, Frostpunk. At any rate, congratulations on your success, capped with a triumphant battle. It's been an interesting ride. =^[.]^=

Halfway into this episode, you have over 60 Knowledge Points banked. Seems to me there must be some way spending those could have helped you. Stone, as it turns out, is perhaps the most finite resource in the game. You *can* trade for it, but not nearly as often as you might like in the late game, especially in an extended playthrough. You were still making Iron tools well into the Steel Age, not a good use of resources or Workload. I see you did raise your clothing limits to 125%, a simple solution to a potentially dangerous problem in cold weather. On to the finale! =^[.]^=

So long as you complete your planting in Spring, you really don't *need* Plows, although hand planting is a Morale hit for your pops. I am very impressed with how well you managed your Workload at this stage. However, you have over 100 Grain, and only around 20 Bread, so there appears to be a food production bottleneck there. Reinforced Platforms are GREAT, when you have archers to man them; I prefer them to Towers, simply because they provide what I perceive to be greater coverage, and can't be knocked down from outside the Walls. Prestige accrues from even simple buildings like Roundhouses, so as your settlement grows, so does your Prestige. During that Blizzard Raid, you kept too many of your people waiting in the cold, rather than opening the gates and letting them get down to business. ='[.]'=

You really don't need to clear diseased crops; they aren't contagious and they regrow just fine the next season. Nice to see how your warriors, when unleashed, kicked Raider butt! The Iron Age awaits! =^[.]^=

Dried Skins are sneaky. They are required for Totems. Also, I stand corrected; it does appear that you salvaged Armor from the Raiders, though I only recall ever getting Shields from them. I must've missed it. Tactically, shutting your Gates limits your melee defenders, allowing the attackers to do more damage until they break through. Really, all a Gate is good for is as a rally point, rather than as a barrier, because effective fighting needs that Gate to be open. As for your no Bows issue, it goes back to when you selected 100% Melee combat preference for all your pops. Hopefully you figured it out in the next episode. ='[.]'=

When I played this scenario on Normal mode, I was surprised that the raiders weren't really all that much of a problem. At this point, you are weathering them well, and armor technologies increase the survivability of your pops quite a bit, though, sadly, you can't loot armor off of dead enemies. Interesting to see that your "Heidi" strategy of building your Stables up in the hills works so well, vis a vis Raider attacks. =^[.]^=

22:23 Did you really just set 100% of all adults to *Melee* combat Preference? Also, setting your clothing limit (for warm clothes, at least) to 125% of pops can save you from spoilage crises, where a lot of clothes suddenly fall off your people's backs all at once. With a small surplus, replacements are readily available, sparing you the heartbreak of Hypothermia, and the annoyance of the warning prompt. =0[.]o=

Really loved the whole tutorial, but this first part is amazing!!!

I´m not a "hardcore expert", in fact I´ve never tried it. YT-algorithm suggested this. However, I think part of the strategy is to keep your people happy by keeping the workload low ... to be more attractive for more people to come. Right? So, having more people, means you can get more work done than with a few people. And we all know advancing into the next age with very few people is certainly not good. I noticed for example you clicked on individual trees to be cut down - that means to each tree someone will go, instead of assigning an workarea with how many people do that task. Same for clicking on individual trees for collecting tanim, to each tree one person will go, instead of assigning one or two people for that workarea (in that case the children will happily do it, and they have the whole of spring to do that), while the others can do other task. Use the key "7" menu to watch what the people are doing ... and cancel "unnecessary" task, they will go back to the end of the que of tasks. Assigning workareas is not micro-managing, but it takes down the workload a lot. So what I´m saying is, strength through number of people is probably better than strength through fast achieving technologies if have there are no people to imply those techs. Or, "one of your guys with a steel sword doesn´t have a chance against a herd of raiders with with flint-spears". Besides, what´s the rush ... look at the beauty and smell the roses (berries), lol. I will watch your other episodes - THANKS FOR UPLOAD and thumbs-up.

what a journey i watched the whole series still on the fence on buying the game but it is on sale but this is the only experience of the game I have seen and this looks incredibly hard
