you make these custom for people?
I have made these to replace worn panels but have moved away from doing custom work because it takes a lot more time. I intend to make additional reproduction cabinets this year.
The real magic is how the entire pinball machine works all together. It's like a brain made out of a bunch of wire, solenoids, relays and a score motor. It's like it can actually think.
This work for jpac?
I never had one of those but the ultimarc website says it's fully programmable so I think it will.
Dude I thought i was in a tim and eric episode for a second. Hahaha. I’m making one. My wife is going to get pissed..
Dude why doesn’t this have more views. You are the man! I had a dream I made a bar out of this by extending the control panel deck out 3 feet. How hard would it be to waterproof this setup from accidentally spills? Edit: The SNL reference! 420!
You're crazy; I like you but you're crazy. You want to make this thing even bigger. I gave it some thought and to waterproof the decal on the control panel wouldn't be too difficult but the buttons and controls would be because they would need some kind of seal which would affect the play, and no matter what junk would get caught in there. I think you just waterproof the decal and clean the controls as needed. Thanks for the positive comment.
They sure don't make them like Wico anymore.
When I map the buttons using Input (this game), it works during that setting but will revert back next time I launch the game. Any advice?
I had that happen before and am trying to remember. I think it only happened to me when I copied a SD card, and it had to do with either making the folder read/write or the file was checked out so I deleted all my saved input files. I did a search for "retropie inputs won't save" and there is a configuration in emulationstation for disabling auto configuration and also a configuration setting to delete all inputs.
Hmm... Months ago, I came up with the recipe for the IL/Happ-style joystick that is compatible with the commercial fightsticks and DIY cases such as Eternal Rival, JunkFood Arcade, and BnB-- *Sanwa JLX joystick *Sanwa bat top with adapter *Sanwa JLF/Qanba shaft cover (the color must match the bat top handle) *Sanwa JLF/Qanba dustwasher (the outside part can be either be black or color-coded (the color must match the shaft cover and the bat top handle) *Seimitsu LS-55 spring (put it inside the stock JLF spring) *Four 50g .187" microswitches *.187" to 5-pin conversion harness
Comical video. I enjoyed the Superman Picture. ;-) To much fluff for an instructional tutorial Next video get to the point more quickly. I was not able to watch the entire video due to time constraints and my ride was leaving for Jupiter and as you may know Starlink does not work past Mars yet. Finally: Chuck Norris always would win. He can bench press the rest on his pinky. He’s Chuck Norris.
I'm with you about Chuck and the video length. I added time stamps in the description but even then it took me ten minutes to explain the last part. They say Good advice is hard to find, apparently not always. I hope you aren't actually visiting Jupiter but maybe one of its many moons. I hear the weather on the planet is terrible and the pressure will destroy your ride.
Actually the weather is not so bad this time of year. It was good advice. :-)
Thank you for your video. Just bought it and feel very stupid since could not figure it out lol
no problem. My buddy who is in the service had to help me out the first time.
Pretty cool! My mame cabinet runs off a Raspberry Pi. I was using tbose cheap encoder boards off Amazon, but just recently replaced them both with Brook boards. However, getting the itch to pick up one of tbese and try it out, since someone recommended it to me not to long ago. May do that for the next mame project.
I’m looking for a hot single guy that refurbishes arcade games. Would you like to take me out on a date?
That’s a really great arcade cabinet build! So efficient. You’re really great!
IL makes a higher quality Joystick than HAPP. IL is based in spain and they are the original manufacturer of the HAPP Competition Joystick. IL still uses nylon instead of the cheaper black plastic that HAPP uses. HAPP now manufacturers in china. I am happy you found the problem with the ball top joysticks.
i just bought the ultimate io board with a rasbperry pie and goldleaf rgb buttons in hopes that i can control the rgb leds through software. however the rgb commander is not available anymore. any updates on this?
I found this in a forum site related to the RGBcommander website being down. I went to archive.org and was able to download the files. This link should work. If there is an email address listed on the software I think we should donate to the guy because it is a good piece of software. web.archive.org/web/20220831225533/users.telenet.be/rgbcommander/downloads/RGBcommander_0405.tar.gz
Hi, nice work. I'm currently building a variation of the cabinet with different dimensions from the original. I've been searching for a scan for quite a while now. Do you happen to have a scan of the decals? It would be a tremendous help if you could assist me. Kind regards from Germany.
I don't have a scan, the best I could do would be to take a picture and have you square up the corners in photoshop. I bought mine from www.mk-arcade-restore.com/product-page/star-wars-cockpit-side-art. You could buy it from them or ask for the scan.
Looks great! Thanks for the tips 👍
Did you have any issues with it being recognized as a keyboard? I was trying to setup my controller with an iPac Ultimate yesterday and while it works beautifully in Windows testing with notepad, as soon I setup the first button in RetroPie, it stops working. I do wonder if maybe it has to do with how I actually have the controller programmed out of the box, so I'll definitely change the programming. I was also thinking of using Xbox mode.
I actually want my ipac to be recognized as a keyboard. There is an issue with certain keys not working in MAME or being mapped to other functions, such as the P key is for pause or S is for start so you can't use those.
It looks like RGB Commander is no longer available at that link. Any idea if there's an updated place on the net?
That's a bummer. I did a google search and found a KLOV forum entry related to this. It's like hooked on phoniks because it worked for me. (Maybe that pop culture reference was too obscure) forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=167026.0
You forgot a button!
Yeah, I cut it out when I put the buttons in
LOVE the vintage trailer!!!
just abunch of door bells nothing special
Nice and simple!
I want to see more about those switches!!
I don’t fully understand why it needs so many switches, he explains it on his website www.funwithpinball.com/exhibits/small-boards-page-2#ScoreMotor
Neat!
Low resolution force measurement?
Yeah, it is a pinball target that keeps track of how hard the ball hits the target or if it is hit multiple times.
The more you know!!
Should’ve got the one with the headlights on the floor; for maximum space shuttle feel
1:41 that's me playing the Hot Wheels game
I had this with eg starts bat tops and the top thingy on the inside was upside down now they don't feel clunky but the microswitches still ain't super
Fantastic video!! Loved the humor and it's perfectly thorough!
Great video, but this \ is a backslash
ps, for the short sticks... there are extension parts for it from EG Starts ;)
Hi, is anybody having a problem installing this? When I run "sudo ./setup.sh install" I get the statement: "sudo: unable to execute ./setup.sh: Permission denied"

Im bangin my head against the table lol Can you try and give me a hand on setting up a ipac2 controller with an rasberry pi w/ retropie on it. I have wired everything up and now only joystick works no buttons?
you have the conical part on the bottom of the stick upside down, thats why it doesnt engage properly and sounds clunky.
Thank you, I missed such an obvious solution
Very good video Iv just got my first cabinet and the joysticks are terrible. Can you recommend the best I can get for street fighter 2? Currently I can’t do any special moves on using the stock ones.
I like the IL/suzo competition ones shown in the video.
Industrias Lorenzo come from Spain
Did you ever get the plastic bezel reproduction going? I am in need of one.
Hi, there is a company out of Missouri that remade them and they look great. I will make a video about it ELDORADO GAMES, LTD. 115 W. DALLAS ST. MOUNT VERNON, MO 65712 (417) 471-1005 Fax (417) 471-1006 sales@eldoradogames.com

All right. I remade the killer instinct cabinet if you are interested in one m.ruclips.net/video/9G5rzqy0npk/видео.html
Sweet!!!!!
Can't wait to order from ya. $1350 sounds very fair for the kit
Yeah I'm game, the monitor bezel is a must though.
Does the windows utility actually reprogram the board? Or does it run alongside a windows based game system?
That winIPAC program reprograms the board. The ipac will work on windows or android like the raspberry pi.
Hey I'm at home depot what is the crimper tools you used and what the name of each tools and connector you have.
You'll have to get the dupont crimper from the internet if you want to do connections for the ultimate IO board. If you're crimping .187 quick connect style connectors this one may not work. duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=dupont+crimper&iax=images&ia=images This is an example of a crimper I use for the quick release/spade connectors www.walmart.com/ip/Crimping-Tool-Wire-Crimper-Plier-Terminal-Wire-Connectors-Ratcheting-For-Electri/732422193?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=101040947&adid=22222222222000000000&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=s&wl2=c&wl3=10352200394&wl4=pla-1103028060075&wl5=&wl6=&wl7=&wl10=Walmart&wl11=Online&wl12=732422193_10001060322&wl14=.187%20spade%20connector%20crimper&veh=sem&msclkid=b620ab357afd1a8d3e79ca912c273594&gclid=b620ab357afd1a8d3e79ca912c273594&gclsrc=3p.ds Here's the stripper I like www.homedepot.com/p/Klein-Tools-8-1-4-in-Self-Adjusting-Wire-Stripper-and-Cutter-for-10-20-AWG-12-22-AWG-12-2-and-14-2-Romex-Wire-11061/206318106
@@bossrobotgames ok will do
Can you do the same wiring with the ipac4
The IPAC 4 won't do RGB LEDs but will do inputs

So Badass!
