Why is there so much more movement tackling leveling with the landing line in mfs ?

God is always considerate enough to light up the runway nicely in Microsoft verse.

MSFS get the terrain better than anyone. Their planes are really good too, but no combat 😭 I don't know why either, it seems a no brainer to me.

the MSFS f18 kinda sucks tbh. It doesn't look 1:1 like the DCS one does.

It’s because DCS is run on a 20 year old tshi engine. Aleppo in MSFS2020 looks better on High settings than it does in DCS 2.9 with the settings maxed out.

DCS modeled the Sochi runway and taxiway very well. In actuality, the pavement has weeds growing through the cracks and expansion joints. On the approach, I spotted the river and the beach where we swam on the MSFS.

Hello, I am not sure but i think for DCS sotchi is one of the oldest map (Caucasus), comparing those two is kind bias because caucasus map was there since 2008-2012 puting aside the 3D engine have evolved but not the texture are the 3D model. PS i am saying that but still good video

Weirdly enough, MSFS beats dcs in terms of terrain etc, right until you hit the runway. MSFS does a pretty poor job of convincing you you have just landed a plane

how do you get that much FPS with 2060? i also own 2060 and can only play on really low graphics settings. Maybe, if you know the solution, could you please help?

DCS is much nore realistic as it is rare to find such crystal clear skies every day as shown in MS FS. Look at the joints and texture of concrete on runway amazing details. MSFS one is very plain very cartoonish

Having been to Guam many many times, the amount of detail that ED put into this is scary, especially for Andersen AFB. DCS definitely won this one. My RTX3070 doesn't like it tho. I'm getting 25 fps average with the Mariana map using Reverb G2 lol.

Needs a missile lock ability to give the ability to do mock dog fights such as in topgun 2, no missiles just the missile lock tone would be prefect 🙌

pointless comparison, you're comparing two different simulators that have very different end goals as to what they offer

Not siding with any particular sim here (fan of both msfs and dcs) but you cant expect msfs terrain to be as detailed as a hand crafted dcs module, since msfs models the entire planet.

Everyone says photometry is so awesome... and it is.. from a distance. Nothing compares to purpose built scenery at the current state of game technology however.

I definitely admire how in depth DCS is with the weapons / fighting, a great variety of jets. In Msfs2020 I've been making my way around the world, country to country in different aircraft and it's fantastic to see how different countries and towns are modelled. It's good to have both i imagine.

Wow, such a cool video, great landing in both the sims, msfs flight physics are a bit unrealistic compared to dcs, but for graphics and scenery msfs any day.

I would sorta want to try dcs just I ain’t got no joystick or anything
