If you changed batteries and it’s a handle problem. Make sure key is on unlock turn. Then punch in code to unlock. If doesn’t work try turning to lock then unlock then hit the code.
You accidentally turn the double lock key on left. You need to turn the double lock key clockwise to the right and leave it there. Then put your personal code or manufactory code. Try to close by rotating the handle down.Hope it will help...GoodLuck. 1:21 1:21
Once it’s open, you need to make sure the lever is pulled up as much as it can. Then type your passcode in, and you’ll be able to turn the handle again. Had this same issue
I settled with a safe I couldn’t close for years before I tried to figure it out again recently. Long story short, just had to change batteries. Keypad still worked, lit up, beeped, LED came on, and most of all, low battery indicator light never came on once. But don’t rule it out. Changed batteries and works like a charm again.
My safe isn't opening but it's a dial code and key system with the key in the unlock position it will not open with the combo even though it used to. Safe is a couple months old
@@twistedwhiskers8776 Good luck. Hardened steel and inches of concrete. I was ready to take a cutting torch to mine until I entered the code while throwing the handle and key at the same time and it worked.
For me, I inserted the key and lined it up with the “lock” icon and turned it to unlock it. Then I was able to turn the handle and the 4 bars when back into place.
You're the man! This is what finally worked for me. Batteries were low also but working the key and handle right after typing in the code, BAM opened. Batteries were down to 1.35 volts each, new alkaline are 1.54 volts typically. The low battery light never came on. I keep my pain medications locked up because I'm one those responsible patients. Anyways I was fucked as there is no way to replace them until my next refill date, my severe arthritic joints thankyou too! Thanks for sharing.
Does anyone know how to get the key out?? I barely bought this safe and I inserted the key bc I thought it be able to close the safe since the handle wasn’t working but now the key is stuck too☹️
Open the door all the way, there is a switch similar to the refrigerator that turn off the light went it close. Push that bottom and will let you close it.
@@MikeJ-dx2fe Replace them, the next time it might not work as in my case. As soon as I got it opened, I changed them. The low battery indicator on these safes are not reliable.
Just unplug the solenoid in the back and use the key to open it. Seem like you have a bad solenoid or the handle me mechanism in back is catching the solenoid
Ese mismo problema tengo con mi caja
I have a smaller one didn't I break it???

Just use the key. That's what it's there for, not to unlock the safe, but to lock and unlock that handle. You're welcome 🙂

Battery change solved the problem for me.

The box inside you have to make sure is all the way pushback or it won’t close. Push it back with the key.
I had the exact same problem, no battery warning but I installed 4 new batteries and the handle worked like new again. Hope this helps. 🎉
After putting in the code, you have to immediately pull down the handle. Do not wait.
Thanks it worked great.

change to new batteries
I simply just removed the tray holding the battery’s and insert it back into the code lock. The handle started to work again.
