The way Amity embraces her school books at the beginning of that video but also on the video position 3:28 is a familiar characteristic I know very well from another Disney girl. And this is the girl Rose from the Disney series American Dragon. Amity from The Owl House and Rose from American Dragon are very similar to each other. Both of them carry the school books by embracing them on their chest, both of them have these adorable pretty eyelashes that extend upwards and outwards to the outside of the eyes in a pointed way. Both of them belong to a noble mighty family with one dangerous parent. And both of them are voiced by Mae Whitman. You nearly could say Amity is Rose, but there are also many differences. Because Amity at the beginning of The Owl House is also a little bit like Cassandra from the Disney series Sabrina's secret life whereas Rose always behaves a little bit like a timid secretive lady. And Luz does also behave in presence of Amity a little different then Jake in presence of Rose. But both of them Luz and Jake have a tendency to become weak and to have butterflies in their stomachs if they see their respective sweetheart. And Luz calls the name Amity in a similar often way as Jake calls the name Rose. These are two other aspects both series do have in common. Since Mae Whitman is the voice of Amity and Rose I even have to believe that Dana Terrace did use the series American Dragon as a special pattern template, but I think she also did know the Disney series Cornelius Fillmore and the Italian Disney series W.I.T.C.H as well to create the characters. I really have to believe all that. Because Cornelius Fillmore also has similarities to the owl house: Amity Blight = Robin Spencer and analogously Eda the Owl Lady = Principal Folsom in relation to the voices. And in The Owl House the double of Hunter is called Caleb and the portal guardian in the series W.I.T.C.H. also has the name Caleb. There are many similarities. But all that tells me one special thing of Dana Terrace. One special thing I notice very fast. Dana Terrace is a real Disney romantic, especially a strongly pronounced Disney Television Animation romantic. And this is what I can understand very well because I am a strong pronounced Disney romantic too. And I also love these Disney cartoon series a lot. And Dana Terrace restored that good old Disney Television Animation style in her series The Owl House in a splendid way. But she created The Owl House not only as a typical Disney Television Animation series but also as something new, creative and imaginative and also as something very progressive and something that really helps the emancipation of homosexual and intersexual people and supports the queer movements in a faithful and sincere way. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't part of the deal with the old principal that if she went to the competition thing and won it for hexside then she'd have her record wiped and she'd be allowed to stay in school? That could also explain why she has such a smaller record than when she was younger, seeing as she would've left not long after that anyways.
