Who on the dev team thought this was a good idea? there's no hint or indication if you're going to the right door or not. you basically go through a door and pray it's the right one and then memorize it from there. That's just lazy and poor area design.

Dude I saw this thing once and forgot all about it until now, my God. At the time, I remember thinking "wait, what the fuck, was that a plot thing," but apparently nope, it's an easter egg encounter. Cool.

I've seen this thing twice in the overworld so far but it hasn't battled me. I've got a Bootleg Astral Southpaw w/ Phase Shift and I've been contemplating replacing my old Southpaw with it so I can hit ghosts and potentially fight Black Shuck when it ever decides to battle me.

They should have just made this an Easter egg. Would have been fun

discovering this maze, and then solving it, was a blast! maybe you would like to also mention the hint given by the lost soul? the portals are always entered by moving S, W, N, E, S, W... repeat. In short, the doors move clockwise.

Literally the first black shuck I’ve ran into was the encounter! I had almost no way to hit it so I had to resort to using ionised air on my opponent, then myself, and then attacking myself with electric moves to do damage. Creativity pays off!
