I think a beginner course would be a great achievement. people WILL look up beginner courses all the time and there's a good chance they will stumble upon your work, spend time tailoring the perfect course (in your opinion). and release your own songs whenever you like between educational videos, other than the course you could get into specific techniques. Investing in a good mic and lighting setup will make your content look way better also.

Something I don't see a lot of guitarists talk about is rhythm. Rhythm and flow might be even more important than hitting the 'right' notes. Because if you know how to resolve notes then you can always resolve the 'wrong' note. If you hit a note too late or too early it is much more jarring to listen to than hearing a 'wrong' note that resolves. It sounds more intentional to resolve a note. It does not sound intentional when we mistime a note. Not playing in time is more noticeable to an audience because it is easier to keep track of the pulse than what key a band is playing in and what notes are diatonic or chromatic. Add a little bit of metronome in with what you're already doing and I bet you that you're playing will see big improvements. Especially if you're looking to play solidly. It's one thing to know harmonic and melodic theory with all the scales and extended chords that come with them, but if a player doesn't have a solid sense of time their playing, or performance, isn't as convincing or compelling.

Seems like youre doing well at discovering theory! Once youre comfortable with your pentatonics, try adding the rest of the notes of the major scale. Then you eventually can use caged and the major scale to build triads and inversions

I am sort of new what pentatonic should I use? for example if you are in the key of g use just use g petatonic or add in some other as well?

I don’t know if you would read this but anyway I am a teenage boy struggling in life lately. I love the music and art world, tho I am an amateur trying to find my way around. I really struggle with school lately, failing exams and what not. I really needed an escape. I would run in this world to find happiness even tho I pretty much suck at it( improving everyday)I believe in god. I'm in my late 30's, been playing guitar since I was 11. I am looking to do what you are doing, to play guitar for the Lord. I played heavy metal my whole life and gave it up, along with music all together. I got music back recently and I'm having to learn a new way to play guitar, which is requiring knowledge that I don't have yet. You ever thought about one of those websites that teaches music theory? If we don't create genuine music in Christ, Christian music is going to be stale and stay in this category it shouldn't be in. We should have the best music. To the point that even unbelievers can feel what is happening. Have you heard of Nick Johnston? I don't think he's a Christian, I don't know... But I thought you might like it on guitar. I'd like to go more in that direction.

There's fortunately or unfortunately, no real historical evidence that Jesus ever even existed. We have no: Photos taken of him. No tape recordings of him. No video of him. No paintings drawn of him while he lived. No independent proof of where he was born, the day, week, month or even year. We don't know where he was buried and on and on. And yet, Christian leaders ask their followers to trust that not only did he exist but he is somehow the son of god, then that he created all these miracles, and yet they don't have proof of even a single one. And sorry, but you can't use the bible to prove the bible, that is nonsequitur thinking. Sorry, asking a rational man to believe in the supernatural is beyond the pale. And remember, Jesus is just one of many gods out there, and millions of people believe as strongly in their gods, or no god, as you believe in yours.
