If you remove the wheel wells ,cyl 6 seems like an easier access ,but i never tried it that way

How did you get to that point tho? I’m dealing with this issue and it has me checking continuity between the clock spring and the srs connector #2 and some other bullshit. I have no experience with this shit and my manager just threw this at me and I’m trying to not look stupid. Did you just changed the module and hoped that was the issue?

Seals have a side indicator marked on them, not sure if that make any difference but i would follow just incase it is.

Problem is we done Regen, scr test and codes are still there. We are running a second scr one now. This is a nightmare.

Detroit did finally fix the overhead issue by introducing oil drilled rockers. However, I've noticed a few other common issues with these engines too. Wrist pin failures, usually caused by the valve bridge falling off, camshaft failures again caused by valve bridge failures. The upper liner o-rings will leak coolant and blow a headgasket. Headgasket oil leaks are still common, dd13 Gen 5s had a random issue of not being built right from the factory and the oil control ring was put on the wrong section of the piston. The injection pumps have started to make holes in the housings. And I've seen several with oil starvation requiring an engine or crankshaft replacement. I do like working on these engines, except for the fuel system I have not had good luck with the new high pressure fuel lines. I do not believe that these are good engines because of just how many problems I have seen out of them, but the newer Gen 5s, late 22 to present are definitely better than the early ones.

My heater control valve on top of the def tank is getting very hot. I have already replaced the header. Will the heater pump cause over temp for the level sensor?

Programming not necessary, also no need to disconnect batteries, just flip cutoff switch

What software do you need for programming

Is the def sending unit in the same circuit as the deft tank tempature sensor? I have a check engine light saying it can’t read the temp inside the def tank

I need a cam frame for a dd13. The dealer cant get them. On back order. All the ones at the juck yard are already trashed

When You mentioned programming, what has to be programmed after install? I'm replacing my SAM CHASSIS and not sure what you actually have to program

I have a 2022 gen 5. Recently I’ve had an issue with the unloader valve sticking. What I was told there is no permanent fix yet. It’s under warranty But!!!! Replacing the air dyer or air compressor will not fix it! Are you aware of this issue with these motors? Apparently Detroit and Freightliner are aware. Thanks in advance
