i read the description, that is incorrect, the sirens have always tested at 1pm on the first saturday of the month in westland as of 2024 (i get that this video is older, but i'm pretty sure that even in 2018 they switched it to 1pm because i clearly remember not hearing it at noon and getting confused when i was younger)

Modulators are painful underneath, otherwise they aren't that bad.

I prefer the 8 second off time vs factory 6.5. The pitch, and surrounding buildings create unreal levels of echo. Oh to have heard the Chrysler that this Thunderbolt replaced.

In a similar spot I was in a few years ago filming this siren, glad its working now. Once I saw that picture not sure where but just seeing it looked weird but I was basically jumping like, "FINALLY!". Dan & I have been saying it for months and even got to a point where Dan called the EMA director directly (Literally) while at the site and after about a year in a half, new radio. A year in a half, That took a while but the important thing is now its working again that all that matters at this point in time.
