A is the perfect bobing
Thanks for this wonderful tutorial and please when are you having your class. I really appreciate this wonderful tutorial ❤
@@VivianNancy Thank you. Next group class is in November! You can book a 1 to 1 with me anytime though
Super!!
If it doesn't work, you can fix the bobbin tension on this machine (and all Singers with the same bobbin case) by turning the tiny screw on the left side of the casing a quarter of a turn. That will tighten the tension on the case itself.
Godsend! Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you
Hello! Great insight, what would happen to be the name of the tool used for the larger thread
Tip for the wig block was fabulous
Useful
I redid the bobbin and it is still doing this
Thank you so much for your detailed explanation, it was very helpful, one of the best so far
*promosm* 😔
Thank you!! I was really puzzled as to why my thread tension went from "perfect" to "dreadful mess" LOL
Dm tnks
I would love to be a part of this 😊
Hey! This is the Toronto class. We have an Atlanta class on May 4th. If you would like more information, check out the kink below: bit.ly/ATLWIGCLASS24 Thanks
I think there's one more extremely important thing for noobs to be aware of and that's depending on the type of sewing machine you have, it may or may not require a certain size bobbin... Cause not all bobbins are created equal! I have a basic brother machine and the bobbin winder broke due to moving so i bought prewound bobbins well i thought my machine was broken cause it would but knot up all crazy underneath, it was unbelievably frustrating cause i couldn't afford a new machine and i don't care for hand sewing anymore at all but come to find out the prewound singer bobbins from Joanns work perfect while anything from Walmart DOES NOT. Lol. Hard lesson learned.

Lovely to hear a British accent, being a fellow British citizen, im grateful for the tips as these have been the fundamental mistakes I've made.. Noted them all. Much appreciated 👍🏾
Carol! Thank you! You are very welcome and I’m glad I can be of help! This comment made me smile😊

Thanks
Oh, for heavens sake. I’ve never had this happen before, but the bobbin on my machine really did slip out of the slot...or I screwed up putting it in in the first place. Thank you!
A Is right
What kind of material are you testing on?
The paper is Similar to a greeting card
Yaaay!! Way to go!! 🤗
Hey, am in 2024 i want to learn how to sew wigs ang getting good vendors...this is very helpful
Thank you
This was SO SO SOOOO helpful!!!! I never leave comments but I just have to now.. thank you SO very much for this video. I’m very grateful. Subscribed!
I wish there was a version by hand with open wefted cap. They only show how to reduce the length, but I need to reduce how large it is too. And the only way is this method but I can't find a version with an open cap with just a few strings of vertical fabric keeping the wefts together.
You’re wonderful for this thank you
How weird this just happened to me earlier, and that's how I fixed it 😂 Google is watching me
She sure is! 😄

I’m so glad this was the first video that popped up. I had been sewing all day and it was fine. Then I changed thread and it was terrible. I couldn’t figure it out. I thought it had something to do with the fact I had just finished doing buttons holes. I was thinking I was going to have to take it out for maintenance. Thank you so much.
You are welcome! So glad it helped!
How to tell if someone cut a wig tags off
I don’t understand your comment
MMHMM wrong video girl keep it moving
Oh my goodness. THANK YOU!!!
😊😊
is it an after picture for the outside of the wig?
This helped me so much!!!! Just learning how to sew wigs and my needle stopped moving, thank God I found this video🥹
Glad to help!😊
Hi do you offer glueless wig making classes?
Yes I do. In person classes take place in Atlanta. Would you like a consultation?
Having tried this nethod recently with a unit that was oversized and very uncomfortable while wearing it. I unfortunately don't own a sewing machine so I do any fabric alterations by hand...You gotta be careful because you're not just cutting fabric from the cap but the hair and the welfts that are attached too, so there will be tons of shedding and bulking of the material where the stitchig meets and mine caused some irritation because of this, but it did fix the issue
U just came up on my feed! Lucky for me as i am very interest in making wigs! Also i like your directness & honesty! Will subbie tobu now!& wlll wacth this video & your others! Yes that first tip is the foundations for a wig to fit corecttly! Now to watch this video! Grace to u & happy new year! Where are u located? gh
Such kind words! Glad you found my channel too! Thank you. I’m in Atlanta Georgia
Yyyeeesssssss....... I just tried it. I have my tension at 8, I changed my width to 4 ( by coincidence I have the same model Singer) and I carefully rotated the handle with my hand. I felt when the needle was near the teeth but it was under control. I reversed the longest end with the pedal as I saw u start off doing, I went straight through with hand rotation (using both hands at one point, I was tired 😂) then I went all the way to the opposite end and slowly reversed with pedal to seal the end. I was so nervous but I was saying, "Fabluxwigs is a master, don't worry it came out well." I removed it from the machine and gave it a test tug....💪💪💪. Then I gave it a strong test tug just to make sure and it is on there, baby!! Yyyeeessss.... thank you! I have a ball making my ponytail attachments but dread sewing the combs on by hand... now I love every inch of making my attachments for my new launch! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!! OH MY GOODNESS, THANK YOU! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
My needle is stuck in the bottom position, how can I fix that?
😮😮😮 Wow....Taj from SWV!! 🥰🥰🥰 She looks great. So cool. 🤗
That was the Canada class a few years ago😊
@@Fabluxwigs ❤️ You're doing great POSITIVE things. Thank you for that.
Oh my goodness... I'm making ponytail attachments and dread sewing the combs on because my hands cramp but It didn't dawn on me to just use the handle and slowly sew across the comb... 😮😮😮 Duhhh it's so simple... 😫 I rather do that than to hurt my hand and potentially sew the combs on ugly while my tracks are nice and straight... I'm so glad I came across this. I put in the search for something like this and you came up, among others...but it's you!!!! So I know I'm good. I'm trying it first thing in the morning!! Thank you! ❤❤❤❤ Edit: ok, quick question. I personally feel better going over the comb twice even though I completely trust your once over. My question is how would I go about reversing without letting go of the comb OR should I have a certain setting for max tension or a particular zigzag pattern for max hold for the once over? Thank you again for your assistance. 🙏🏾 God Bless. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🎉

I would spread my fingers wide spider-like and hold it with my left hand while pressing the reverse lever with my right. Gotta multitask 😃
I'm new here but I'm really interested in your content new subscriber
Welcome! Thanks for subscribing! I give tips on my IG too. ☺️
Hello... I literally just bought the heavy duty machine a few hours ago just to end up seeing you on the Singer account recommending this machine for wigs. 🤗 I'm also making hair attachments as well and would like to thank you for this video because I wanted to purchase the proper needles but wasn't sure which one since they have so many. 🥰
Aww. This means a lot! Thank you 🙏🏾. I wish you’d seen my FABLUX code too! You would have gotten 15% off 🤗💕
@@Fabluxwigs Actually I bought mine at a near by fabric store I often go to and they hooked me up with a discount plus they had a 3yr service (the store itself) for $30... 🤗🤗🤗 I think I shopped well. 🥰🤣 Thank you anyway. ❤️❤️❤️ Love your work.
I’m going to attempt to hand sew a unit 1st. Until I actually get the money to buy a good sewing machine. Where do you get your bundles?im looking for somewhere to purchase good quality hair bundles and frontals without spending a fortune. Also, how do you know what length to get for the wefts and closure? Should I get the closure longer than the wefts? For instance if I want to make a 14 inch wig length wise should the closure be the same length? I love your videos, please keep sharing. For this will be the beginning of my wig journey 😊
Can u do a video on where to get good quality bundles and frontals
Thanks for the great tips

If this method doesn’t work, try tightening the tension on the bobbin case!! I had this issue so for me the bottom thread was too loose, hence the top stitch going straight and the bottom stitch being the only zig zag. Try this if it looks like the bottom thread is being pulled towards the top of the cloth!
Thanks.
How?
