I was eying a few, 2 or 3, that I've been wanting. They were at a good price, but I just couldn't afford any right now. I'm pretty sure those prices will come back on. Have you gotten Twilight Imperium to the table yet?

I thought I saw the Prophecy expansion on sale, but I'm not sure. I've never played it, but I love games that get you involved like that one does. Maybe someday . . .

@@robertthurman9866 I was just getting into crowdfunding when the Dirt campaign was active. I followed it every day to see what extra perks were being added, and debated going all-in to the end of the campaign and through the late pledge. Not doing so turned out to be providential. I feel for everyone who didn't get their pledge. I still want Dirt, so my finger is hovering over the "buy" button. The system for Rallyman is truly engaging and makes me want to get it to the table again and again. It is a very underrated game.

Dutch blitz, red rising, schotten toten and horizons spirit island. I also got both versions of tokaido prior to watching this vid but thats only cause its been on my watch list for a while now so it wouldve been 6!

I bought it NIS from someone who backed the original Kickstarter campaign.

It plays incredibly well solo! So we'll balanced! It was my first experience with Obsession and it enabled me to teach it so much easier. It enabled me to work out all the kinks such that two and three player games went so smoothly! I can't say enough good things about this game.

You're welcome, thanks for watching! Ludwig hasn't gotten old! I got the complete collection, which included all the expansions up to that point (doesn't include Renovations). The base game itself plays very well, and you may not see the same room tiles in consecutive games. The bidding mechanism helps keep it fresh also. The expansions that we've tried have integrated seamlessly, with other expansions still in the box to try. I don't anticipate getting tired of it any time soon. My family loves it, and it doesn't take much to convince them to play it. If anything, I have to try to talk them into something else more often than not. Absolutely great family and gamer's game alike.

Additionally, because the tiles vary from game to game, and the I-price-you-buy mechanism, it's much like Hive in a sense: Your board will never take on the same layout twice, and the objectives you pursue will change based on inventory and competition for the tiles available.

I've played Ludwig a bunch of times and have never gotten tired of it!

I would need a refresher on both, but the tug-o'-war scoring in 7 Wonders Duel makes it tense and exciting.

@@jonathanleach383 Though Maple Valley is in the same setting and theme, the mechanics are different. Maple Valley, I feel is more streamlined and plays faster. Creature Comforts has a dice placement mechanic that inherently takes more time. I like both, but for different reasons. If I want a faster game, Maple Valley. If time isn't as much of a factor, and I want maybe a little more suspense (for lack of a better word), Creature Comforts.

I don't fully understand what you are saying, but based on what I read, I don't feel I am detracting from the mediums I am posting to. This is a board gaming community, with many subdivisions. I am adding content without taking anyone away.

The more I've thought about it, the more it's falling into place. I'll start compiling the list.

@@louisfrancisco2171 You're getting so much more, in component content and quality, as well as an all-in-one storage solution and promos. Are you getting the 5th player expansion?

@@gamesvitae Yes. The only thing from the all-in I'm not getting is the neoprene mats. I'm not sure I'll use all wood resources. Definitely not the obsidian. I like the plastic one better.

I want to delve deeper into it. This is a game that improves in richness the more you play it.

I feel fortunate. Having read recent comments on the Kickstarter campaign, there are still people getting the runaround. The customer service was and apparently still is a nightmare. Were you one of the ones who received a damaged game?

@@gamesvitae Yup, there is bound to be some bad buys in the beginning, but we all learn to be better consumers eventually. I started backing games back in 2015. I had my share of bad experiences. Mine would be agents of mayhem and Tanares adventures. In terms of feedback, I generally like channels that tell me which games replaces another so I can be even more selective on my choice. Also timestamps would help!

Deblockle is up. I'm going to have to play 7 Wonders Duel a few more times to get a better feel on how I would address it. Love the game, just haven't played it much recently.

It's on the list! It is a very accessible game that flies under a lot of people's radar.

Much of the basic info carries over quite well, namely in regard to time frames for funding and fulfillment. I have yet to back anything non-board game. Each project will address if they are using a pledge manager or not. If it isn't mentioned, I would assume it isn't. When in doubt, contact the campaign directly. With regard to refunds, late pledges, and the like, those things vary even within the realm of board gaming, so outside that realm has equal if not more variability. Again, inform yourself by reading everything the campaign has to offer, and then contact them if you have other specific questions not addressed in the campaign material.
