This is a review of what happened to my Solo Stove tower heater after I did my initial fire up of the heater. I had just in boxed it, followed the directions meticulously and this is what happened. Once again, I've ran into another issue on my Sherp. I was noticing an oil smell while I was running the machine and a bit of smoke and I was wondering what was going on so I started to check into it and this is what I found.

My company started a scholarship giveaway and we asked people to apply not for themselves but for other people, then we reviewed all the applications and saw who we had multiple applications submitted for and then reviewed them to find who we felt was the most deserving. My alternator already went out on this machine. I get it people, things break, things fail. Correct, like a SHERP. Anyways, I take the alternator off, go down to Napa to get it tested, HAHA think again sir, can't test a EUROPEAN alternator here. So I call our local DOOSAN dealer to buy a new alternator. They can't even find the part number that crosses with a European one. SHERP ends up sending...

Well another issue with my SHERP video. I wanna make this very clear, I think the concept of this machine is amazing. When it runs, its incredible. However, don't get your hopes up that it's going to get you home safe and sound and not leave you stranded.

I purchased a Sherp a few months ago and this video is about a lot of the nightmares I've dealt with ever since. Between not being able to reach anyone in Service to finding VELCRO as a main fastener for all the interior finishes, my dealings with SHERP have been utterly TERRIBLE. If your in the market for one of these for your business or personally, I would HIGHLY advise you keep on searching...
