Just delete this video for goodness sake.
Hey! My dad was diagnosed with AUL last week, he’s 65. I’m sure he’s gonna be okay and your videos made me happy. I’m glad you’re doing okay and great video!🤍
That's unfortunate, the treatment sucks and the lumber punctures and treatment will be tiring and there will be a lot of personal bleeding for him which depending on him, it may concern him when they do a stemcell transplant. He just needs to get up and walk around as much as possible when he goes through treatment. I feel Cancer affects the people around us more than ourselves, but that is my perspective view. Wishing you all the best of luck!
Covid 19. Mate really???
Essential worker. Why? Are you offended?
i hope you feel silly for spraying that box,
Its simple. Please don't comment. Its years old.
Oh i have this also from india

whqat is the inner diamieter of the turbo exhaust inlet? how far are the bolts apart on the triangle flange? do you know the name of the flange? please help
Just a tdo4 kit, 5 bolt and 3 bolt is difference.
Good day buddy.what vehicle is the 4d56 from?
Pajero 1988 but it is slightly different, you can't just throw it all together, the casting quality controls were lower, sump and oil pickups different along with tooth profile on gears and piston crowns and heads. They also use different flywheels, they are not mix and match.
Hello friend. I have a question of a long time ago. Repaired the tata telcoline box? Is there a manual for setting up a tata telcoline Box?
Not that I know of. But telcoline is gone, repairs were not viable even though it had heaps of life in other areas.
@@michaelthemekhanical There is nothing impossible. So l went through the whole Car from the frame. Completely and completely. And l found all the necessary details. Although l had to try to look for it.

@@michaelthemekhanical I understand that it wasn't worth it. Nothing is impossible. It's all lyrics. Good luck with your work. Keep doing your job. You're doing great.👍
Awesome mate, I’m in the process of pulling my 4d56t out of my mk1 pajero keen to see more of your 4d56t engine build vids
Unfortunatly my car did break down and the footage was not shot due to this and the camera failing. I still have many files to render, while I don't feel I can make them entertaining, at best it is informative. For each series of Pajero, Delica, Triton, Mighty max, their are subtle differences as well. I'll see what I can start organizing tonight then :)

Is your leukemia cured?...are u fine now. I am suffering from same though
The doctors say there is no cure, the cure to them is stem cell transplant in hopes to control leukimia.
Also sorry for what you are going through. Treatment sucks but it is what you need to do to recover enough to hopefully have a normal life
@@michaelthemekhanical thanks buddy👍
@@michaelthemekhanical yes doctors have planned Haplo Stem Cell Transplant for me.
Nothing can beat the smoothness of a 80s XF ZL and FE ( and the XE versions and XD ) maybe a W126/W124/w201. A lovely ZL you got Micheal :)
Cheers, but it belongs in places people can go and see it. Not in the shed.
They are a nice car I paid 6,000 in 1997 for a 1987 model. Got heaps of roots in the back seat. I have 2 v8 caprices now, they are much better cars with less problems.
Fair enough. Everyone says V8's are reliable. And cars while increasing in quality and reliability are quite the oppisite of what is said compared to some old school cars. A V8 from the 70's is more reliable than a V8 from 2016 when the last FGX came off the line.
That's cool, good 3d printing ventures!, If you're having issues, 3d print Canada is a really good channel
Thank you! I found out this part was a spare and a primary one was already installed on the Y axis like a limit switch but slightly different.
Oh cool, I don't own a cr 30 but I do know creality sends spare parts as I have 2 ender 3's
I have the irge to say "in your moms butt cheecks" but i cant ..wait-
You just set me google home off 😂😂
Great to get an update mate!
vid not working . what r the issues with zl i may help
The ZL could use a video breakdown of all the issues. Rear window motor issues Clock doesn't work Electrial issues with speakers Bumper doesn't line up correctly with pannels A few chips in paint Suspension requires reconditioning Exhaust manifold gasket requires replacement Air box is warped Petrol tank might not be sealed correctly Dash sometimes trips out. Drivers door is a different color Some dings, dents, scraps and chips in paint and body :) Needs a video oneday possibily.
i have a small business i need help with
What were you doing with your small business?
oh mate your a awsome lad and you keep your head up and id love to show u my ZL sportsman
whats it like now . have u finished her
Cancer changed my life, life priorities were a thing. Not knowing what the future held, I bought a running ZL 1985 and learnt that burgundy had a lighter colour called regency and a darker colour I don't recall the name for. The 87 never changed, just needs cleaning for now till things are fixed. I can't work with metal for 12 months, I am not protected from tetanus anymore.

Mate, can't show you now, but It's got the 5 bolt setup and running fine. Can't complain about that 👌 💯
All the best to you! 👍
can some one tell me how to get the receiver part of the tube of????
I am sorry, I can think what the receiver part of the tube is you are talking about? Could you try explaining a little?
Great to see you again! Thank you for sharing this journey with us, and I forgot to mention when the vids came out congratulations on the ZL, whilst what you have been through to be in the position to buy it has been hard, nobody deserves to have their dream car more than you and what an amazing example of a ZL it is! All the best mate!
Appreciated. It's not the same, and it has weird issues which might be worth sharing... But at least having said dream car means while I am on the road to mending and healing, if I make a full recovery we could still look at the other ZL Fairlane and make considerations about it.
Thanks for sharing, how are you doing currently?
Well I was reassessed in hospital today and I've been prescribed a sleeping medication to try and help my body recover. Looking into making an update but everything is an effort.
@@michaelthemekhanical Thanks for responding. I have a family member whose daughter, age 3, was just diagnosed with this. Im sorry you’re having to go through it as well. 💖
@@Lollita23 I am more sorry that they have to get it so young 😔 Sorry to hear that. How are you coping yourself?
@@michaelthemekhanical Well, you are also young. I’m doing ok, just trying to educate myself about it. I hope you are back to working on cars soon!❤️
@@Lollita23 I don't feel it's going to be so soon. I don't even know what I will make or not. Life is unpredictable.
I'm guessing fuel and it's infrastructure and service networks will be required by law to be still available for at least ten years after the final petrol vehicle is built or imported into Australia. The transition will be a gradual, rather than sudden change. My first car was an XE Falcon with the 3-3 six and 4 - speed manual, in cream. When the original owner ordered it, he ticked no options boxes whatsoever. It was as basic as XE's came. The gearbox was notchy, the steering heavy, and the motor just had no torque. The rigmarole of navigating it over the Blue mountains was an arduous and painful process. This small engine was in a car big enough for a 5-8 V8, and it showed. I fitted a decent sound system with four speakers, and a set of XD Ghia rims to lift it's appearance. It eventually became quite rusty, so I passed it on while I could still get something for it. Yes, it wasn't a Fairlane, but it's based off the same model and platform. Enjoy your car.
Still great cars, unfortunately, you are right, some of these were under-powered. But I think you can change a motor and still keep the same aesthetic feel and sound if you do it right. It's great to share our stories and love of cars. And that the infrastructure won't change for over 10 years since the last car was manufactured. I am going to keep my diesel when they cut them off. It's because it's a backup for a world where mobile power plants may have an Achilles heel. That being sensitivity to high-powered electro-magnetic pulses. Some of which we expect but may or may not ever be that bad in our life times. And I say diesel because unfortunately, the ZL is susceptible to the damage as much as any modern-day car.
Your strength and willpower inspires me to get back into my car's, stay strong Michael 😉
Good luck and have fun. I don't feel the willpower or anything. I feel flat. I should make a video eventually again because I bought a new camera and some other bits and pieces. The software change is the worst though as timelines are not so traditionally laid out and formatted. Much more difficult to work with, however, can handle 4K.
Hey mate I'm thinking about buying a 4d56t 95 triton it has a split in turbo return line should it be braised or replaced
While you could braise it, I'd replace the line which is around $30 on Amayama but the wait times are about 3 months on orders. They still have plenty of parts, it's just navigating those parts which is a challenge. Get the part number from mitsubishi, try buying it there but use that part number on Amayama and you can get a new one if Mitsubishi don't have them.
By the way that is one beautiful ZL you have chosen a good one, well done.
This is just great, I've followed your RUclips channel for a few years now and have seen your posts in the FB groups im glad you've finally got your dream car, make sure to garage it and look after it they are great vehicles. I myself own a 1981 Ford FC LTD 4.1 and love it.
Thats excellent 😀 Sorry, youtube didn't alert me to your message.
what a beautiful car! great choice. I recently purchased and partly restored a 1983 ZK Fairlane (also with snowflake wheels but painted gold). Great cars for cruising. The old crossflows are lacking in power but they make up for it in torque. Hope you get it to enjoy it for many more years to come my friend.
Thank you very much! I have a Series 2 ZL (Dads) and this the Series 1 ZL. The series 2 is a rust bucket, it might be saveable. I don't know. But your right. They lack power but make up for it in torque. This one goes alright. It has a shudder at idle and stalls when cold between the selector. But once in gear it has no dramas what so ever.
A LOT OF STRENGTH FRIEND.. DON'T GIVE UP A HUG FROM PARAGUAY
Hi Michael, I am writing to you from Paraguay and I was watching your videos. I have an L200 k34t 1998. I know you were sick and I hope you recover soon. Ask by chance where I can download the workshop manual that you have in this video
I don't remember where I got it, but I looked for a pdf online with v5m21 and found what I was looking for. Just be careful online because you don't want to get scamed. I am constantly getting better and sick. You don't seemingly magically recover from what you are put through.
@@michaelthemekhanical it's hard to deal with that kind of disease but you will recover. And is there a possibility that you can pass me the copy you have?
@@hdcraton we can see on a platform we can message each other. When i get a moment, I'll see what I can do.
Hey mate, started watching your channel as Im looking at doing up my old MH Triton. You've got some awesome ingenuity and have given me a lot of insight into my work. I'm sorry that youve had such a tough time but please keep your head up 💪 Absolute inspiration. Have you looked at learning to create 3D items and print them off? You could fabricate some interior accessories and 3D print them to order. I use a Creality 3D resin printer but the filament printers would be better for cup holders, or dash accessories. I hope you're hanging in there, and look forward to your next video
I have a 3D printer but have read into some more advanced techniques to increase strength and give a nicer finnish. Requires a fuming box and acetone with part hangers. Acetone melts the plastic.
@@michaelthemekhanical have you had any other ideas on what approach to take?

I want to see how things are done, NOT the person who's doing it....that is no help at all!!!
Do you think it's possible to replace the front pulley seal on the pump without removal and disassembly of the pump?
Yeah but you need a puller thats small and capable enough
Get better man 👍🏻
Will try working at that 😀

Bro how is the turbo did it last
Turbo was fine, however I did install a different one which was 5 bolt pattern and it is still going.
@@michaelthemekhanical would you recommend this for me to buy it's for my 1989 mistubishi pajero
@@Lakshi_Music I can say safely they should last for a while with proper installation and maintenance and preventative maintenance. They are of decent quality in hand and I'd rather replace one every 100,000km opposed to genuine at 200,000km due to price gap. My turbo is running, no problems. Just get a new diaphragm actuator or if it fails it could damage the turbo. Actuator opens and closes waste gate, sits on your intake manifold with 2 bolts and has a vacuum hose to the turbo.
Keep up the good fight mate. Family is praying for you.
Thank you. You're AWESOME!!!
Hi Michael thanks for the video. Where can I buy a head gasket for the turbo conversion and what thickness its gonna be. can you please reply when your ready
First of all, pistons and valves must be replaced. Non turbo ones are not designed for a turbo setup and could let you down. Ideally get an mls 1.55mm gasket from kiwi cylinder heads and ensure you deck is machined then have the pistons machined to 0.794mm above the deck. When you install your head gasket, use hylomar gasket spray or something better, I don’t know the black goopy product professionals use, but that's because of coolant and oil galleries on the gasket are prone to not sealing with an mls properly. Once you run your car after doing the head gasket and it's warmed up, double check the torque while hot and you are done. I was taught to do it when hot because if it's loose it will tighten up and not likely leak under expected driving conditions. If you push the car to the limits the coolant may leak even with hylomar. Don't push the car and the head gasket will last. Also If it does leak, mls should be able to recover if you use hylomar or better products. If you don't it will likely keep leaking as mls are genuinely prone to coolant and oil leaks. But are better at moving head and maintaining compression to the cylinders.
praying for you xx
Thank you.
