Hi, my name is Ian, and I've been sailing for over 10 years. Back in October 2021 I bought my first boat, Gemini Girl, a Beneteau 393 Oceanis Clipper, to go on my own adventures. I cast off the lines in May 2022 to sail solo to the Western Isles of Scotland, to see wonderful places and wildlife, to explore, learn, test my limits and grow as a sailor, but importantly, to discover myself again.

I have so much to learn, do and see. Like every sailor worth their salt, I know the sum of my knowledge is completely eclipsed by what I haven't yet learned, and the only real way to understand and grow is to be out there doing it every day.
