      It won't have withdrawal symptoms like a drug does but you may not sleep as well if it was something that your body needed.Hope that helps!

    when i did copper detox i did get herxheimer reaction that cause flu symptoms with sore throat, pain, flushes, chills etc why? was it because candida did die from copper detox?

      I’m sorry that happened to you! You definitely have to be careful when detoxing from copper to avoid what’s called a copper dump which can make you feel really sick-it sounds like that’s what happened. I never force copper detox but instead I support mineral balance and then the body will get rid of copper as it’s able to.

      Yes, I still think it was one of the reasons I wasn’t sleeping. But I also had a parasite, hormone imbalance, heavy metals and neurotransmitter deficiencies which were also affecting my sleep. By the time you have any symptoms including sleep issues, there are multiple systems in your body that aren’t working properly-it’s never just one thing. But avoiding gluten is a great first step!

    I wish you could have a program that is affordable for people like me who can’t afford thousands of dollars to help with their chronic insomnia. There is several tests from $199 like Thorne and $399 Viome that ca test your stool blood and salive for pathogens and many other things like allergies etc . I wanted to send you a message because I did read everything on your website and unfortunately many many people don’t have access to that kind of money to pay for your help. If you had a price that is more accessible to working class people that would be a dream solution for those like me who is just waiting for a mira me because it’s truly depression depend on hard prescriptions drugs for our sleep.     I'm so glad I came across your site. I've struggled with insomnia for years. 2 years ago, I saw a naturopath who found high cortisol and high histamine. I've been on cortisol manager, several supplements, and progesterone, but still average 4 hours of sleep a night. Frustrating. I've depleted my savings, but will work on building it up to find answers to the cause of my health issues. Mahalo for your sound advice.

      Interesting! Your body might be reacting to eggs which causes inflammation. Food sensitivities are another cause of waking up at 3am

    Hi Martha, I've had consistently low REM sleep scores since I moved into my current home. I bought ear plugs to rule out sound exposure, blackout curtains which ruled out it being a light factor, a new mattress and pillows to rule out comfort levels. However, I'm still getting constantly low REM scores. Any ideas on what might be going on please? It is since I moved into this home. There are signs of damp in other areas of the house but not in my bedroom. Many thanks x

      I suggest testing your home for mold with an ERMI. Even if it’s not in your bedroom, if you’re living in mold and your body can’t detoxify it then it’s affecting your health and your sleep. Let me know what you find out!

      @@Palasha-v3kthe breath test for h pylori is the “gold standard” but I’ve seen h pylori on the stool test when the breath test came back negative. I think the issue with the breath test is that it’s an indirect measure looking for the gas that h pylori releases whereas the stool test is testing for the dna directly.
