Hi! I did try out Da Vinci Resolve, and I even got and offer to create a video on it, but I looked at other creators, and don't think I can add new value to it. I wanted it to be about how to use 3D that's lacking in capcut, but it's more complex then I thought. So for now I'll stick with capcut.

Hi! The options for 3D movement is very limited in capcut. For rotations, you need to use the Flip 1-6 combo animations. My Iman Gadzhi videos are all about how to use those. The other 3D effect is a MagnatsMedia style paralax effect with multiple layers, and others did a lot of videos on that. But if you have a specific video effect you want to copy, I can look into that, how to recreate it in capcut.

You can create a "compound clip" from your layers to make them one. For example: let's say you create a part of your video by using multiple image layers, and apply different movements and keyframe settings of even effects on them. If you want to move all these layers at the same time you'd have to keyframe them one by one. If however you select them, right click on one of the layers, and select "create compound clip" it will unite them into one single video. Now you can move and transform them together as one single video.

"not perfect" ... lol ... ofc ... but I think it's a nice first try. Also I never saw anyone do it like this before. Everyone did it by printing out images or some software extension. Also, I think it adds to it's value that even a beginner can do it.

just make a big image and, move it down then repeat. My video size is 1920 x 1080. so i created a 1920 x 3240 image, out a lot of logos on it. then in capcut i moved it from bottom to top, and when it got to the "end" i duplicated it on a new layer, so that they overlapped the last part of the movement, then repeat to create a loop.

Hi! I wanted to do a video on the full process , but I never finished it. Basically you need to desaturate the talking head video, and use the blend property and change it to multiply. Make sure that this is the top layer. Hope it helps!

If you want Ali's short video, than you can download that from his RUclips channel with an online downloader. If you want my raw videos, than it would be just a waste for most of your time. I tried a lot of different variations to get this result and had to cut out 80% or more. So all the useful parts are in the video, sometimes at 20x speed though 😅

Go to youtube, tipe in "ali abdaal" in the search bar, select his channel, go to shorts, and sort it by most popular. The second one is the halo effect. If you click on it ... it gives me an error ... hmmm let me check if i still have the original

Depends on where you live. I live in the EU so i can't download it, unless i use VPN. If capcut is availabe in your country, you should be able to upgrade your capcut version from the bottom left of the startup page (where you create projects), or when you're inside of a project then in the top right in one of the menus.
