I think the Cobra Kai series would have been even better if the boring Amanda LaRusso died from cancer in season 1 or 2 and Daniel and Kumiko fell in love again in season 3. We all know that Kumiko was Daniel's one true love and it was a really Big missed opportunity from the writers of the series to not let them get them back together in that way. We can all feel how much they still love each other ❤ I think most people would have preferred this true love story ending to the Cobra Kai series. Anyway, I am going to pretend this is what happened: After Kumiko said she still loved him, Daniel-san moved to Okinawa to be with her and they got married in the ancient Okinawan o-bon dance temple from Karate Kid 2.
