Can this holster be worn only with a belt?...
great
I owned this for a while. The problem is that 1) you need BOTH hands to draw it every time, and 2) once drawn, re-holstering is a chore. Now, I come at this from the context that when you draw a weapon for self-defense, you are at the highest level of stress and - very likely - in a chaotic situation. You may need one hand to fend off an attacker, to keep a door from being opened, to move a loved one out of the way, or behind you. Maybe you are holding on to a bag of groceries or the keys to your car. So, the time it will take you to transition to this somewhat complex two-handed operation to get to your weapons (to me) is a recipe for disaster. I think it is an interesting idea, but I am not sure that it is solving a problem that other holsters have not already solved. And, if you are already wearing a shirt over your belt area to not show that weird-looking leather handle that looks like you own a 90s cellphone, you might as well just wear a great apendix kydex holster.
Great review
I find if you wear it closer to the center of your abdomen it’s more comfortable when you sit down.
This holster is a pain in the Ass
All IWB holsters must be so sweaty! Better have OWB holsters.
Try Duluth jeans, can’t really tell I’m carrying my Glock 43, my Ruger LCP just disappears!
This holster is going to get someone killed.
Wow. Dude. Never thought to just wear your belt the other way? 😅
Yes, it prints a little, yes, it does take a little practice to get used to it. End of the day though I'm conceal carrying again, which I haven't done in years because every other conceal carry holster I've used has been unbelievably uncomfortable after a few hours. I highly recommend this with the Smith and Wesson M&P Shield or similar size pistol. It may be just fine with larger firearms too but I've never tried so couldn't say for sure. Fantastic idea executed very well.
Best review I've seen so far, wish you would have tried to draw from sitting down. Nonetheless, great review. Thank you!
For the first example with your jeans, I honestly couldn't tell that you were carrying on your left side until you showed the holster. Now that's saying something.
Is that really you Tactical Joe? I think it is actually Dwight or Moes 2:24.
3/9/23 my Uban Carry just got here. Been playing with it for a good 2 hours now. Can’t seem to get a good spot for it. If you seem to use it, I will keep trying to find the right spot.
I’ll stick to my alien gear ankle holster literally makes my shield plus vanish!
Thanks for the business dress demo.
I’ve never met a single person who puts their belt on from left to right…
I was taught as a child that men thread their belts counterclockwise and women are the opposite. Which side buttons are sown on to shirts is also different for men and women. At least it used to be.
Kel Tec P32 does not print at all. Can you tell me what size holster you got, A, B, C, D, or E? And what is the width near the top if laid flat (so that 2x width is circumference)? Leg holster is for a back up gun and very handy as a primary if you are belted into a car.
ever since he started using this holster he's noticed woman show him more attention.
I've had this holster for nearly two months. It is made for my Sig Sauer P238 in .380 with extended clip - a small firearm. This Urban Carry It has become my FAVORITE. By far. I probably have 8 or 10 different holsters. Every one is a different brand and I've carried many different firearms (Glock .40 Gen 23, M&P Shield 9mm, Kimber 1911 in .45, etc.). I have holsters that are Inside the Waistband, outside the waistband, front carry, small of back, etc. It is well concealed when carrying, regardless of my attire. And it is the most comfortable holster I own. As far as I'm concerned, those two facts make it the best holster for me. I'm in dress clothes (suits, sportcoat/dress slacks, etc.) quite often. But I'm often wearing jeans or shorts. I'm not skinny - I'm sixty yrs old and carrying about 20 extra lbs at 5'9" and 202 lbs. I wear it equally often with a shirt that is tucked in and a shirt that is not tucked in. I can carry it from morning until night, while walking, driving, working at my desk, doing odds/ends. I do not even notice that it's there. Of all my holsters/firearms, I think it is the easiest to draw. I've not tried one of these with a mid-sized or large firearm. But I regard it as OUTSTANDING with a small firearm.
Maybe this would be the perfect holster for women who where long maxi skirts! Perhaps have a woman you know or your wife model one to show if it stays concealed while walking with a long skirt. Women who have a curvy hourglass figure always run into the problem of the pistol butt poking under their ribs with waist holsters. Most holsters are made for men.
Being leather will it cause you to sweat and will it eventually begin to smell?
Thanks for the info
Your belt is backwards.
Mail it to me then if you don’t want it🤣
Lol guy puts on his belt backwards
I keep seeing a lot of videos on KORE even though they are made in CHINA?
Um, your belt is upside down, lol. No wonder it clashes with the holster.
how much urban carry g2 sir? philippine money sir?
dude, your wearing your belt upside down. duh
I naturally feed my belt the other way, anyways. I thought that everybody did as well...
Doesn't fit my straight jeans? LOL.
The urban carry is a shitty holster as far as self defense because in a self defense situation u are dead with that holster but for concealability it’s excellent
Bem prático no saque rápido da arma 🔫
4:40 “you might be able to see a bulge right there...” I thought you were going somewhere else there buddy. 😂
Turn your belt over then the excess will be on the other side. Great review.
URBAN CARRY IS GARBAGE!
I have one and I like it a lot. Every concealed carry holster has good points and bad points. You definitely need to dress accordingly, looser fitting pants are the way too go. So,if you're into skinny jeans you need to look at other options.
Ty for the honest review. I’ve seen so many negative comments about this holster. I think it really depends on the body type and the type of clothes one would wear. By looking at your review I definitely wouldn’t call it the “end all be all” to holsters, but it’s an option to consider for less printing and for wearing dress shirts tucked in.
I'm jw: Did you have the training to draw from the 6?
I'd not heard of this holster till I saw an ad before the video I was originally going to watch, which led me to this video! Being a leftie, I was really glad to see that Joe is too - made it very relatable to me, which most videos aren't. I'm really intrigued by this holster and will be getting at least two as soon as I post this ....
Nice and brief. As a right handed person it never occurred to me that a righty might loop their belt the other way!
You're definitely from PA aren't you?
Hi Dillon, I live in Iowa, born and raised!
@@tacticaljoe7258 interesting, I couldn't be more off. You just sounded like a few work buddies of mine, they're all from PA. Cool channel by the way!
Hi, just curious what brands of laser, will Olight Mini fit?
thank sharing the great video! I'm looking to get my CPL and then the urbancarry, may I know how tall are you, and your waist size so I can know better how this will fit for...
Hi Sevan Y, I am 5’ 9” and in the video I was around 150 with waist of 30
@@tacticaljoe7258 thank you so much; by browsing other G3 review on youtube, some people complain that it's hard to draw - looks most are caused by "belly meat" -compared with your video :).
@@tacticaljoe7258can you wear regular sized pants with this holster? Or do you wear 2” bigger waist size?
Sorry but I think it's the worst freaking holster I've ever seen. Almost bought one until I started looking at reviews. Unless you carry something really small, it's going to print like crazy and be very uncomfortable by the way it looks. And to think they make it for a full size firearm. But thank you for the review. I'll stick with my Kydex.
Flip the belt so it runs the other way. Then you won’t run into issues with it not clipping over both ends
Thanks the review
