True! I didn't actually love him (nor did I know how to love myself). In fact I was in the relationship for egoic reasons. Once I began the journey of healing and recovery, I was able to open my heart to True Love and become a better partner.

Narcs are on the increase. The Bible actually addresses this. 2 Timothy. Chapter 3, I think. My last 2 exes were narcs. I didn't know about this evil spirit but I do now. I was shook y'all!

I think it’s often the other way around . Men see themselves as better than Who they are . Men look in the mirror and see themselves as Younger , hotter They often meet or get involved with attractive , smart , good Women But she’s not their dream girl who is probably out of their reach

​@@OlderWomenRock There are good and bad men, there are good and bad women - choose wisely but dont blame others for your bad choice. Women choose a man by how he presents himself - its called percieved value. It means bad manipulative men can study that and use it to get them to sleep with them. On the other hand if men dont put an effort to truly understand how women think and are wired, theres almost no chance of ever attracting a woman especially if you are an intoverted man. Most woman are drawn to extrovert masculine men, that have a goal in their live that they chase and that is more important to them than any woman. Women are atracted to that and want to be the chaser of such a guy. Men with low self esteem and no goals become toxic and manipulative and its damaging women - These damaged women than hurt good guys because they think they are all the same. Everyone male and female need to balance their masculine and femine energy inside of themself. If either one energy is too strong or too weak there is no healthy polarity - which is the main reason for attraction. This is just the tip of the iceberg but we need to see relationships as an opportunity to give something and not to get something and theres a huge crisis going on as everyone is dysregulated. Especially in western society. Also Men and women love differently. A man that truly loves a woman will love her as if it were his own daughter - he will sacrifice himself for her. The only woman who truly loves a man is his own mother. Any other woman in his life will only love him for how he can make her feel and how high his perceived value is in her eyes. A man has to perform he cant just exist and be loved for "who he is" he has to build himself into a strong and good man and that is what attracts a feminine and nurturing woman. This is nature at work - this is how nature is rewarding men who build themself and society up. And woman are wired to support men like this in what they are doing. This is also why men and women are fundamentlly different by nature and its good like that if only society and the world would see it for its truth but thats not the case which is why men give up and dont care anymore if they re not being valued for their providing msculinity. The Female hypergamy is the feeling in every woman programmed by nature that has to be satisfied to stay with a man. Its the feeling that she got the best man she could find with her assets to secure a potential strong and durable offspring. And for thousands of years this function secures the survial of the fittest and our race. Men who go for what they want, who have their own opinion and stand for it. Men who have actual value and willing to provide their value to make the world a better place for everyone and not just for themselfes. In todays society the typical masculine men is constantly beign critized - we are not allowed to be actual men anymore in this hyper feminized western world. The problem is many females dont understand this about themselfs. Its also the reason why woman are able to love men who treat them badly - it satiesfies their hypergamy and shows a form of strength. Being nice to everyone is easy but treating someone bad and not being afraid of the consequences because he doesnt care is a form of strength that attracts females. And it goes against every logic. I ll quietly sit back and watch if the world will finally realize what the truth behind females, males and the purpose of their relationships is. Women are driven by their emotions and theres not much that they can do about it because its nature. But many refuse to look inside and take accountability its their kryptonite. Woman only look for their own survival. Men look for the survival of everyone. I know this sounds very generalized and ofc there are exceprtions and differences in men and woman. Men and women can compliment eacht other with their unique skills and thrive together - supporting each other. Men build / generate / more doing less talking, women nurture / give emotional support / more talking and feeling and they both need each other to reach their full potential in life. A man needs to be able to contain a woman and give her a safe space to relax into her femine energy because she knows she can depend on you even if she doesent need it. This takes a lot of effort and energy and most woman just dont see that a man has to work a lot on himself to become such a man. Woman need a man that is confident in himself or they wont feel a thing for him and this cant be faked and more and more men are understanding this. Thats why woman are social and emotional experts in spotting men who are trying to fake this and once spotted it kills all atraction.

Amen! We have been married for 27 years. I also learned not to take advice from (any) family members or friends. They tend to imprint their experiences on your situation. The same goes if you see a therapist; many of them tells you what they think you want to hear. A good therapist will support your marriage and challenge you when you just disparage your spouse.

@@JoeL91939 I tend to think that confrontation is the best. I found that withdrawing is often the same as sweeping things under the rug. The same things will resurface in your next argument, which will either lead to fight or flight (withdrawal). My experience is that you need to take a break and come back in an hour or two later to really confront the situation WITH your spouse.

What do you mean timing wasn't right?

Yes, why settle for someone so quickly? Give multiple men chances, that way you are being open and learning about yourself/your preferences along the way, and determining over time whether someone is going to be a good life partner. It's like friendship - does someone become your best friend over night or does it take time for the chemistry and bond to form?

@@LoveSarikaJain why would one settle for someone knowing there're not even serious? Even If you were upfront about it: that would disqualify yourself from many people who are looking for long term relationships on a spot. If you are lying to your dates about having other dates, that's terribly sad and will bite you later in relationships.

Thank you for your comment. I agree with everything that you've said :) One thing I've seen is that a quality man wants a woman with a pure heart - that's what purity means to me. When we objectify men, we attract men who objectify us - it's the mirror principle. That Cornell guy ended up being online/single for years :)

@@LoveSarikaJain Got it. Purity means something different to men but I can't really describe here without getting red flagged.... I think it's human nature for women and men to objectify unfortunately. The Cornell guy is single for years because he continues to have multiple options as he is considered high status, that will only change if he loses his status.

​@@FBICPS I can only speak from my coaching experience, but I've seen REAL men really value women who know what they want - in life, bed, otherwise - which often comes from experience ;) Objectifying is human nature, but sometimes we have to move beyond our ego to find the partner of our dreams...
