Baja Kits Pre-Runner Install On Ford Bronco Badlands - Details Not In The Baja Kits Video
Tried to keep this video focused on some of the details that were not in the Baja Kits video of this install and package information.
I go through all the parts and pieces that come with the Baja Kits Pre-Runner Package and how the Upper Control Arms and Boxed Lower Control Arms all go together. I show how to remove the Ford Bronco front stabilizer links from the Bronco Badlands with the front stabilizer bar disconnect and how the Baja Kits front sway bar links work with their kit. Then we take a look at all the misaligns that come with the Baja Kits Billet Trailing Arms and Baja Kits Billet Upper Links. And we install the Baja Kits Billet Pivot Plates.

    What do they do if you turn on reverse, AND you have your blinker or flashers on? Do they alternate between yellow and white.?

      @@texasgrillchef8581 Just tested this out for you. They are two different light strips - Amber for the turn signal and Bright White for the back up light. So when in reverse the amber still flashes the same. In daylight it is harder to see the amber since the white is so much brighter but it does still flashes. Great question!

    Hey Bud! I didn't realize you had a Bronco channel! This was the first video i watched. I would like to see the before and after... What did the Baja kit cost? Were the trailing arms made of metal... It kind of looks like they're acetyl. Did you put wheel spacers on or did the Baja kits actually push the tires beyond the fender flares?? Speaking of fender flares, are they Sasquatch size? 4inch? I love the FE/Wildtrak/Raptor black bronco you put on the tailgate.. I took mine off for a wrap, and RTR spare tire carrier covered it anyway. I'm quite interested in your thoughts on the Baja kit... Keep us updated. 😊 I also like the PreRunner kit Lite Bite (Kevin and Brittany) put on their Wildtrak, but that's a bit pricey. 😂

      @christopherenoch4230 Thanks for the comment. Hope you like the others on the channel. Should be some good before and after shots in the video. Also have a short out there just showing the before and after 360 view at the same time. The Baja kits was around 10k for all the parts I got. The rear trailing arms and upper links are billet aluminum with a skid plate bolted on the lowers that is a plastic or delrin type material. The kit on the front with the new lower, actually gives you an extra 3" per side of width so no spacer at the front. I put 2" spacers on the rear to match them up. They are Sasquatch size flares. The forged carbon ones are from ADV and a direct replica of the stock sasquatch plastic ones. I will likely look for another tailgate support to replace the RC one, hope to find one that does not cover the Matte Bronco. Will keep you posted on how the Baja Kits holds up. So far all good. Have not seen the Lite Bite kit, will have to take a look.

      @randerson752 - If you go to about 7:40 in the video, you will get a pretty good look at the end of the yellow wire. That is essentially the new pin, it comes already connected to the end of the wire, I try to explain it a bit in the video but just a long semi rectangular section of solid I assume copper crimped on the end of the wire. And that slides up into an open slot in the plastic connector that holds all the wires aligned for the other half of the plug. Hope that helps. Thanks for the question.

    • @BadToTheStone
      @BadToTheStone 6 месяцев назад

      @nikkibrewer3945 - I did not make any modification. When you lift up the bottom seat portion and stand it up it is on a loop sort of hinge. It will stand straight up and the back will fold down and wedge at an angle. But if when you stand it up you sort of pop it forward/over it comes ahead a little more and is more vertical. Then when you fold down the back it should be as flat as mine. Make sure your front seats are pulled ahead to give the extra room you need. Should be a standard feature to go this flat. Thanks for the comment. Hope this helps you.

      @@hadtocheathimtobeathim6549 I don’t recall all the details just a better way to maintain your battery charge and not overcharge it. When looking into over riding the start stop with forscan I found some videos on it and it did not seem ideal. Some videos even claim disabling it can cause a battery fire? Not sure about that but seemed worth avoiding. Do a quick search and should not be hard to find more info on it. I am not an expert on that by any means.

    Get the one you can tow behind an RV oh wait a minute that’s none of them. Doing so you highly risk the possibility of destroying the transmission like I did $6300 and Ford was happy to let me eat it even while under warranty.

      @@TopSecretVid That is for sure. I am glad I did not wait and try to order the 24. Mods have been fun and great to drive.

    I got a Big Bend 2023 2 DR 2.7 V6. I wanted a base model but wasn't available from my Dealer. I'm glad I have my 2023 V6 now since that isn't an option on the Big Bend. I DO wish my seats were vinyl since that is the new default but oh well.

    Can you explain the reason for the pedal commander a little bit? I’ve never heard of it before and I’m interested in it because the delay in the pedal on these Broncos is ridiculous.

    • @BadToTheStone
      @BadToTheStone Год назад

      @ TheChuck1960 - The main reason is pretty much just what you said, eliminate or control that delay. Since cars no longer have a throttle cable, the manufacturer can map any control they want between the pedal and the actual throttle response. This can be great for things like sand mode on the Bronco where they change it to reduce tire spin in sand. For everyday driving it usually means a sluggish throttle response. The pedal commander lets you dial in a throttle response that you want. No change to the power of your vehicle. It just unlocks how you access and tap into that power through your gas pedal. Hope that helps. It is a pretty nice mod for daily driving. Thanks for the question.

    I don't understand the amber/white module swap. Functionally what is different when operating the vehicle, compared to not including the amber/white module? (Note: my Bronco currently has the stock base halogen taillights.) Maybe without the added module, the turn signal would simply be pulsing of the red taillight section?

    • @BadToTheStone
      @BadToTheStone Год назад

      @bigworldparty1619 - you pretty much nailed it. If you buy the regular Oracle flush lights with just the white module then your turn signals pulse the red brake light instead of Amber like the factory lights. Upgrading to their Amber/White module gives you the brighter white reverse lights and makes your turn signal a factory like Amber. So just makes the flush lights more like the factory ones. Thanks for the question.

    • @bigworldparty
      @bigworldparty Год назад

      @@BadToTheStone - thanks for the info. Those taillights look sharp, and I like the flush approach keeping the assembly more out of the way from damage. Will look into swapping to them down the road.

    Looks like tinted tails are illegal in the state that I live (NC) how about your state? Thanks for the video, btw 👍

    • @BadToTheStone
      @BadToTheStone Год назад

      @Mwild00 - Glad the video was helpful. As for legal in my state - seems room for interpretation. You can’t do anything to reduce the functionality of your tail lights. Since these are made this way I interpret as legal. I interpret not legal as adding tint, adding a tinted cover etc. others may interpret different?
